I would have been happy with replacing them with more Kenda tires, or Carlisle or Goodyear Endurance but the only one of those 3 brands the local Discount Tire had in stock was the Goodyear. I'm hoping for another 5 year problem free run with these Goodyear tires.Re: Food freezing in the refrigeratorif the thermistor goes bad, the refrigerator defaults to running non stop. Replacing the thermistor fixed my similar problemRe: The GEO Method and Space Heaters - Thoughts? We spent 3 days snowed in last winter in our trailer and were able to keep warm using 2 small ceramic space heaters. I carry a heavy duty construction extension cord so I can have the second heater plugged into the pedestal. There's no telling how much propane I would have used if I had to rely on the furnace.Re: Anyone heard of LIV trailers? It sort of reminds me of the Camplite trailers. So if they do start selling a good trailer, Thor will buy them up and shut them down also.Re: One Tire Worn OutI've got the same problem with one tire wearing faster than the others. It's not worn nearly as bad as yours, but my problem is I don't know if its been slowly wearing out over the 20,000 miles on the tires, or if I bent the axle on the last trip and it's wearing out fast. I plan on taking it in to a trailer repair shop and having it checked out before my winter trip. A good shop can straighten it back up without replacing it.Re: Why did my water pump stop pumping? On my shurflo 4008 pump the problem was a stuck pressure valve under the diaphragm. There was a You tube video on how to fix it by a channel by the name "Why Wait"Re: Overhead oven fan not working in trailerThe oven vent fan and light are 12v so it probably is on the same circuit as the CO2 detector, look for a wire pulled loose between the two.Re: Magic Chef mcd990arbBefore you toss the old microwave, open it up and check it out. My 25 year old MW died and I was having a tough time finding a new one that would fit in the opening. I opened it up, and after replacing a fuse and a capacitor it's back to working like new. Cost about $15-$20Re: Hot water elementI've done the same thing at least twice on my 1995 Holiday Rambler. The first time was right after I bought it and was cleaning it up and checking everything out. It was drawing a lot of electricity, and I finally figured out the water heater was on (while it was empty). It was probably like that for a whole day. And recently it was turned on while empty for maybe a half hour before I realized it. After all that it still heats faster than my friends new Airstream. I'm tempted to take the element out and find out what brand it is.Re: popping/clicking noise from hot water heater? It could be that the gas switch was always off, but the electric switch was on. Or he has mice.
