Owners of Dodge based RV's?After a year of it, the 163" wheelbase class C 440 CI class-c is not addressable - odd dog that it is was to be. Truck parts are the salvation. The last of the best Mb400 chassis. Gear Vendor Overdrive on the 727 is a godsend behind the updated 440, btw. Ok, have fun guys, my Dodge is too odd.Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?I have the PN dvd, factory service manual for the 163 - I can help others, but, the P/N conversions are modified to 2016 and a bit... off. the 1978/79 163 wb dodge chassis was the last of the dodge c- class- The bailout mandated to the termination... yayada,, We all know the end of days protocol struck with gov. so, back to parts - I need zero help on most issues - the p/n conversion are perhaps truck related?Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?Thank very prompt request for my reply. your eager need for my reply is so encouraging. Brake drums, hardware front disc/calipers, driveshaft hardware etal - the 163 is unique - thanks for helping me source oem equivalent hardware as NAPA and Rock Auto are sourcing close guesses- I have the parts manual - useless with the conversion PN codes. the close but inaccurate is the rule. Look, you know all of this - the Special Dana, the special front, you are my new to me great ness. You are a godsend. Or, Perhaps a PDF reconstruct for download? Amazing info, great fun and clarity - all mashed into a downloadable - Searchable stew of knowledge... Online is better, but if the powers that be determine to maintain this huge stream of conscience as is, then pdf it for the mortals that want to keep these beasts running well.Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?Ebay has been great for us, and Craigslist (found RV salvage in Las Vegas as well - a few that were NOT overpriced :-) ). To those that have house problems - structural - look to hybrid metal/wood rebuilding. Youtube is a good source, but as you know the search terms to get the videos are at times of the wall, so try to be creative. Angle Iron is a BIG benefit, so is channel metal. Great coffee fuels great action. :-)Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's? It appears, based on a quick look, that the rotors were used on D-series (pickup), CB-series (commercial box van), and B-series (production van) as well as MB-series (Class C motorhome). If you have trouble reading this, let us know and somebody will help you. Even marginally competent parts counter-people should be able to use these OEM numbers to cross-reference to their company's part numbers. Voice of experience: Compare the new parts to the old parts before installing the new parts. I've encountered cases where the parts databases have errors on vehicles as new as 2000 ... the older a vehicle is, the greater the possibility of errors (or lazy data entry people). I have it all in hand - OEM manuals and Parts Lists from Chrysler/Mopar. The 163" MB400 WB 440CI chassis has the 13" rear drums and many more upgrades. Most of my resources are in factory print media - ****, Accurate, Finite.Re: How many of us are there? Looking to not have brake issues after restoration work :-) MikeRe: Falken R52 HD light truck tiresThe R52 SEMA award winner is a special Commercial Tire. I used Commercial BF Goods and Mich - 200 each - they capture rocks and cut - esp in dually rear sidewall rock insertions. This SEMA award winner is all about an 80psi pothole survivor - sidewall breaches to date in off-roading 4x4 rocks and straight edge hits - zero. Contact Falken for correct construction info.Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?1978-79-1980 MB400 163" wheelbase 25 foot Skyline Lindy Dodge Motorhome bunkhouse and fold bunk model- Does anyone have print media? Skyline staff has nothing. Years of query - nothing. Ya see, the mb400 is 1978. The Skyline built it out in 79, on a chassis extended wheelbase (163") that never happened per Lindy records.
