Has a 7" Display, volume so if a second person is backing you up you can hear them and has night vision. I connected it to the clearance lights so I can turn it on at will. Works great no drops. Its not cheap.Re: Potential RV Owner QuestionI had a FR 24ft Mini Lite with murphy bed. The down side was low payload capacity, and our floor plan had the bed go down over the sofa. While the sofa was very comfortable when the bed was down could not use it and had to sit as the dinette.Re: The difference between dry an loaded weight. Here are my numbers. Brochure says 485lb tongue weight. Problem is they do not say if based on unloaded or loaded weight. Actual tongue weight when loaded is 780lbs or 12% of GVWR. For buyers this number need to be explained, and it is not.Re: Best GPS?Two things to consider on smartphone/iPhone apps. 1. If you lost cell phone signal you do not have real time data. 2. When using map apps, unless you have a unlimited data plan, you are being charged for data usage. I have been told you can download the route, but I prefer a Garmin 760LMTRe: Trailer Tire Pressure MonitorsJust make sure if you install a set you change out the rubber stems for steel.Re: RV Club membershipAlthough I have a GS membership, we joined and belong to a RV club in our city for the social activities and the clubs camping trips throughout the year hosted (wagon mastered) by one or two of the club members to different locations. While we travel alone part of the time it is nice to travel and meet-up with folks you know and to do things together. Also some club members host campouts at locations we did not know about or have not visited.Re: 2018 DURANGO RT OR SRTI had a 2016 Durango AWD Hemi R/T and Love, Love, Loved it. Purchased a Grand Design 2150 and all the specs were within the DD's limits (I later found out except 1. It was the Hitch Tongue Weight limit) It did pull it fine however. Factory specs said 423lbs for the trailer. When I weighed the tongue it was 770lbs without any water. I found out later that was without batteries, propane, weight distribution hitch, and anything in the trailer. Jeeps and Durango's have unibody construction and even though it has a class 4 hitch, it is only rated from the factory to carry 720lbs on the hitch "Period". So my advice is check the tongue weight or like me you will be buying a different vehicle.Re: Fading Front Cap paint issues, questionsOn my GD 2017, not sure but the black appears to be a decal. On mine I have some "rock" chips through the black and it shows white. I touch it up with black paint.Re: Grand Design now using Dexter axles on Imagine. And...Speaking from experience in my 35 years of RVing, I've NEVER had as many problems with a slide as I've had with my Imagine 2150. During the first year I've had the slide, dealer adjusted 3 times, right side motor replaced and just had the "whole" slide mechanism (racks/gears & motors) replaced. Because the slide assembly has 2 motors it must be extended fully/retracted fully without stopping and never extended/retracted part way or it goes out of adjustment. Dealers salespeople NEVER tell or don't know this and don't tell a potential buyer this, and further don't emphasize it during PDI.Re: What are advantages and disadvantages of travel trailersI have towed both TT's and 5th wheels. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Both need to be properly set-up for towing and have the proper tow vehicle (meaning "payload") for the trailer its pulling. As far as one being more stable pulling or in crosswinds I feel a TT is no less stable (when set-up properly) as its height is usually 4 to 6 feet lower. If your in a major crosswind situation you don't want to be travelling anyway. Also most TT's weigh less therefor better gas mileage. Backing up a TT VS a 5er does require a different method. Also you can get smaller TT's.
