Good write up, always enjoy your updates. http://pse.com/aboutpse/ToursandRecreation/WildHorse/Pages/default.aspx P.S. Many years ago we broke down near there and mechanic charged us a "206" fee. Asked him "what is that about"? He said "We should stay on our own side of mountains!!!! (I laugh about it now, but didn't then). ouch...thats crazy... a 206 fee. well...if you are over here on this side of the state and need some help get a hold of me. ill make sure you go to a place that doesnt do that.Re: my latest blog trip report - link Francesca Knowles wrote: I'd enjoy it more if you posted it right here like The Master "Wahzoo" does. Can you top this? thanks for your input but i chose to do it the way i do. we all have choices and i am not the great wahzoo. no one can be like him nor do i try. that is too high of a bar to reach. my trip reports are not to "top" anyone.my latest blog trip report - linkhere is the latest trip report on my blog. i hope you enjoy it. linkRe: washington state truck camper rally- june 26-29 2014looks like a bit cooler weather for the rally this week. here is the forecast according to the weather channel: mid to high 70's with a very slight chance of rain. actually...nice weatherRe: towing/roadside assistanceas others have stated...you are being smart checking into these things ahead of time. although you can do and check maintenance of everything on the truck something may still happen. there was no way i could have known my fuel pump (gas motor in my truck) would go out. the repair shop had the truck fixed a few hours later. things happen...they could always be worse. Re: towing/roadside assistancewell...i can tell you from recent experience on our trip a couple days ago that my regular insurance with roadside insurance works great. i am insured with safeco. i was 30 miles out from the closest town with a repair shop. they had to bring a big tow truck since i had my camper on the truck. the camper never had to be removed by the way. total bill for the tow was $395.50. ive already talked to the insurance and they will pay the bill in full. they will pay in full any tow to the nearest repair facility.Re: Lost My Legs.........but in a good way.that is a great idea. since my truck is just for the camper for the most part (I have another truck for other stuff) I rarely take my camper off. I keep the jacks on it for emergency only. NOW THANKS TO YOU (really...thank you) I will be measuring and checking if I can do the same thing. I cant believe I never thought of that...duh. thanks for sharing the idea.Re: Planning tripis it 15 days total for when you are in the seattle and portland area, do i understand you correctly? do you want suggestions on national parks kind of thing or things like...the pikes market in seattle type of thing? give me a shout when you are going back through my neck of the woods heading east. maybe we can meet up for lunch or something. good to see you are out and about. on edit: what time of the year? that can change things too.
