Going to stay in several areas and were looking for more tv options. I am turning off Dish Net while were away. Gets rid of receiver, antenna, tripod and $100. per mo. bill. Also don't want to take a lot of DVD's. We should try to get more exercise !Re: Improve campground WiFi signalThanks for the info. Will forget about using campground WiFi and look more into Hot Spots.Improve campground WiFi signalWould like to use my Roku streaming device on campground WiFi signal. What do I need for hardware? Is it practical? or do I need my own Hot Spot? If so what would I need for that? Would like to stream movies and tv.Re: Andersen Trailer HitchThanks for all the input. I never thought to do a search. Will do now and decide. Thank you all again !!Andersen Trailer HitchI need to replace my 13 year old Draw-Tite weight distribution hitch. I have a 26ft.Freedom Express travel trailer. 6000lbs.w/load. Pull w/2007 Chevy 1500 extended cab 4x4 w/5.3 v-8. I've been looking at the Andersen No-Sway weight distribution hitch and wanted to know if any one has any experience w/this hitch.Re: Looking for a park in Crystal River area w/out no-see-umsNo We're not on the water now. The last 2yrs. we've stayed in Orange City near Daytona. We visit the Springs and St. Johns River. Few bugs but no no-see-ums. Last time at Crystal River I had no-see-um screens and still spent every night killing no-see-ums inside the trailer. We hooked-up at 8am and I spent 3 days driving home scratching. We tried fans didn't work, 50% deet and all other recommended sprays they worked for 20-30 mins., during the day time too. I live in northern Vt. and know what black fly's and mosquitos are like at least you can see them but these no-see-ums were worse.Looking for a park in Crystal River area w/out no-see-umsWe used to stay at Crystal Isles resort in Crystal River, Fl. The last 2yrs. we stayed there the no-see-ums ate us and our dog alive {last yr. was 2011}. Would like to go back to that area in march and are looking for a good park. Lake Rousseau and Rock Crusher look good but reviews don't mention bugs. We like to Kayak and love a warm swimming pool and/or hot tub. We were not sure if the bugs were only bad close to the coast or were they all over the area {I remember we couldn't eat outside at Dan's Clam Shack either} ? Have searched Fl. park review sites w/out any luck ! Thank You for any insights !Re: Please help, urgent! Slide out wont retract! My 2010 Freedom Express had the same problem, turned out to be limit switch for retraction. Would go out fine but would only click when trying to retract. I have a Happi Jac slide their website shows how to find controller and how to manually retract the slide they were very helpful on the phone to. I was able to find the controller and locate the wires going to the limit switch. I jumped these wires bypassing the limit switch and the slide works fine. I'm waiting to remove couch to replace the bad switch.Re: Slideout won't closeThanks again for the info. I will investigate further. There is a hard plastic sheet covering the bottom of the trailer and I can't see anything , looks like job to remove. The trailer has been sitting for a month w/slide out. After cycling in and out several times it seems to be working. It also seems to seal better now when closed. We are going to use trailer this weekend and will see how it goes.Re: Slideout won't closeThanks for the input! Am connected to Ac power. Batteries are hooked up and fully charged. Front of Sink Cabinet did hang-up on carpet when I put the slide out. I removed carpet when I tried to close. I did try to adjust the track brackets I found to raise inside of slide(1 under stove cab.+ 1 under sofa) a 1/4 inch. It seemed to help but power seems to shut off to slide motor(starts/Stops)Like a switch (pressure ?) stopping it. And once slide has moved 6 inches it goes ok.
