We sure enjoyed our PW Excel for several years, still miss it! Thank you for the information regarding emailing the factory with questions. I love it so far!!! I drove it a short distance yesterday in fairly strong winds and it held the road well. Selling my '03 PW was interesting and rather pleasant as the people who responded were so nice. It sold for $2,000. less than I paid for it in 2011. Those who came to look at it were from out of state except for one, and the majority of my inquiries were from other women. I feel I've made a good investment!Re: Looking at buying a Pleasure-WayI brought it home yesterday but think I should have bought a boat! It has rained all night and it still raining very hard! I am super excited. It just turned 19,000 miles!! Click For Full-Size Image.Re: Looking at buying a Pleasure-WayThank you for your replies! I did drive it but only about 5 miles and didn't notice any handling difficulties. It does have the spacers. I have a'03 Pleasure Way but had read of handling problems in some. It doesn't seem to have quite the power as my '03 on the Dodge Ram 3500 but it has all the things I wish mine had.Looking at buying a Pleasure-WayI am considering buying a 2010 Pleasure Way Excel TS. It is built on the Ford Econoline Van and has the big motor. Does anyone else have one built on the Econoline and if so, how do you like it, are there any issues I should consider? I am very excited!Re: Anyone keep their B plugged in for winter storage?I was lucky to find indoor heated storage for my Pleasure Way the last couple of years so I don't winterize. Last year I just turned my batteries off and when I picked it up 4 months later they still had a good charge. They are the sealed type but now I am wondering if I was just lucky or if turning them off will work again now that the batteries are a couple of years old.Re: And they say dogs don't know what we say, HA!I am really enjoying this topic so I have to add some of my stories. There are the dogs that read your mind! I can be in the kitchen and decide to use the remote to start my car, before I reach for the key, Toby, our miniature poodle, can be in another room, with a wall between yet he will start to bark. With my Standard Poodle Charley I could just think about going for a walk, even at an odd time during the day and find him in front of the closet door where my walking shoes are kept. Oh and they tell time, especially bed time and nap time. One of our Havanese, Andy, goes and finds my husband and herds him to the couch for their afternoon nap. Mention or think bath, then play find the dogs. I couldn't begin to count how many words, gestures or sounds they understand. Andy loves my friend Elayne. We hadn't seen her for over four years as she doesn't live near us. One day she had planned a visit and about an hour before she arrived I made the mistake of telling him his Auntie Elayne was coming. He sat at the door and cried until she arrived. Another Standard Poodle I had several years ago figured out I didn't like the smell of lawn spray or paint. She usually walked ahead of me on a long retractable leash and would stop and look at me, like don't you want to turn around, if she noticed those odors in the air. I wonder sometimes if dogs are getting smarted or if years ago we just didn't pay them the same type of attention.Re: What Brand Dog Food do you Feed Your Dog and Why? CA POPPY wrote: We had routine labs done on Darcy recently, because she is nearly 8 yrs old. She had no symptoms, but turned up with "a few crystals" in urine, so she's on Royal Canin SO for urinary tract. I really hope that's not all she can have, forever! :E We re-test in 3 weeks. My little Havanese had this problem and I did not like the ingredients in many of the vet recommended food. I fed one of Fromns food and I think it was their Gold Weight Management. What you can do is email the companies that make quality food and ask what their target urine PH is for their food. I believe the target urine PH for dogs is 6-6.5. I also gave 250mg of vitamin C each day, plus added warm water to the dry food to get more fluid in him. Interesting discussion at this link http://community.dog.com/f/29544/t/27665.aspx You can buy spa or pool ph tester strips to check her at home between vet visits. Hope Darcy is better soon!Re: What do you tell your dog (s) .... gbopp wrote: I don't tell our Chihuahua anything.
