I agree...mine pulls a lot nicer when heavy.Re: Traveling in windy conditionsSorry...cant get the link to workRe: getting fifth wheel brakes on 2500 chev duramax set rightI like to set mine up on a gravel road. I go about 20mph and brake hard and if the trailer and not the truck skids then I back the trailer brakes off until niether skids but the whole rig stops quickly. In the winter I do the same on a snow covered road except at a slower speed as u definately don't want the trailer brakes on to high a setting or u could easily find your trailer passing the truck! *smile*Re: Will 16in wheels fit on a 2008 Cougar 278RKS jaycocamprs wrote: Goodyear lists the Marathon ST225/75R15 D at 28.3" in diameter and 8.7" wide on a 6" rim. BF Goodrich also lists the Commercial T/A in LT225/75R16/E at 29.9 in diameter and 8.8" wide on 6" rim. Both T?A's have a 2680@80 load rating, up from the ST225/75R15 D rating of 2540@65. If you can make it work it's well worth it. Thanks for the responses.... I just checked and have lots of room between the tires and about an inch above the tires. Will 16in wheels fit on a 2008 Cougar 278RKSI have to replace my tires and would like to go to 16in rims...will they fit?
