I'll give this a try.Awning roller cable/insert problemHi folks! I have a 16 ft front awning made by Solera and the motor housings are labeled LCI (Lippert). Problem: A grey 3/16" cable runs the length of the 16 ft roller and holds the fabric awning into the groove (also running the length of the awning), and it comes out about a 1/8" with every opening and closing...so by now it's length is about 12" long. Does anyone know how to shove the cable back into the fabric awning or what can be done to get it back into the awning pocket and groove...without taking the awning off? Let me know if i need to clarify the question. Thanks a bunch!Remove light oxidation without hurting vinyl decalsI have neglected our 2016 Keystone Passport 30 ft. fiberglass TT. It now has a light/moderate oxidation problem on the front cap of the TT. Questions and a general concern: What product can safely be used without scratching or damaging vinyl decal on the front? I purchased Meguiar's M67 Marine/RV One Step Compound (to use with my dual action orbital grinder/polisher) however this product has petroleum distillates, which supposedly can abrade and damage vinyl decals. I talked with Meguiar's customer care and they stated they could give no input regarding vinyl decals. Any ideas about what could safely be used on gel coat and vinyl decals? Thanks for your time! How do I lift a accu-slide slide to inspect wear bar?Has anyone ever lifted a slide with accu-slide cable system to inspect wear bar? Keystone Passport 2016 Ultra Lite 2920bh: Not under warranty After popping and shaking of accu-slide, I have been informed by accu-slide company that I will need to replace the gearbox on the accu-slide. In addition, the dealership now says that the wear bar is "probably" damaged (without inspection) on the left side of the slide (when slide is closed in camper). They believe the wear bar is "damaged" on the left side and needs to be replaced. They also suggested that I could use plastic rollers instead of a cheaply made wear bar. Price: 129.00/hr with 5-12 hours of work. plus cost of wear bar, rollers. Accuslide is replacing gearbox at no charge. Question: Is there anyway to inspect the wear bar before taking it to the dealership and letting them have their way? Labor prior to parts could be $1548 alone.Re: how to remove fascia boards from top of slideI cannot find screws anywhere.how to remove fascia boards from top of slideHi, I have a 2016 Keystone Passport Ultralite. I need to remove the long decorative fascia boards that are attached to the top of the slide. The middle piece to access the motor in the center of the slide has two screws. But the two long horizontal pieces on either side of the center decorative piece...well, I'm not sure if there are screws there, or is the 1/2" pressboard attached another way? If anyway can help that would be great. Thanks30 amp plug hot and started to meltThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 2930877530 amp plug hot and started to meltHi guys, Plain and short, I packed up the 2016 30 ft. travel trailer to come home from the camp site and the plug (of the cord) burned my hand and the rubber was so hot it was slightly disfigured. I have a 30 ft travel trailer with a 13 amp air conditioner. It ran most of the 3 day weekend at the beach (86 deg high temp). The travel trailer has been through much worse and longer hot beach stays. Any ideas about what could have made the plug so hot that it began to melt? I know of no other variable change in the system. Thank you for taking the time to think through this with me.Good RV camping in Western NCHi guys!
