Be careful buying the Trojan batteries, they have many AH rating batteries. I found Sam's did not have the 220AH in my area, they were under 200, can't remember exactly, maybe 190?? I went to a battery shop and was able to buy a 240AH battery (got 6 of them) with the same footprint as the 220 for not much more $$340Views0likes0CommentsRe: What do you use to jack up your trailer?
Buy the one Old-biscuit posted the link to. I welded up one like it years ago, made a few and sold them to fellow RV buds, but stopped as it was just too labor intensive for me. I own a Viar 450, great quality compressor, thought I would save money and go the Harbor Freight route, it did not last long. I mounted mine under the truck by the running board and installed a 2.5 gallon tank with an air chuck by the running board. You must use a pressure switch with them. Being an impatient person, I bought a set of regulator gauges and a 5# CO2 tank, lightening fast and has an adequate air supply. All small compressors are a bit slow for me, especially if you are dealing with multiple tires. The Viair keeps a supply of air in the lines for my air horns.
