I like the idea of it, and certain kinds have built in sway control as well. I see it as a little extra insurance. Thanks! KevinRe: Weight Distribution with sway control questionI have used the Husky Center Line TS hitch the last couple of years, no complaints. KevinRe: The new ride came inI like it! What are the towing and payload numbers? Thanks! KevinRe: We were shocked to learn our newly purchased TTMy Jayco came with a gas only water heater, but the SLX is a base model anyway, I had the dealer change it out for a gas/electric before I picked it up. Wasn’t a big deal.Re: Weight Distribution Hitch drsteve wrote: I have that same hitch, the bars are rated for 800-1200 lb of tongue weight. Sounds like you are fine on the size. It is sometimes noisy at low speeds, according to the manual it is acceptable to use a light lubricant on the bar saddles. My TT weighs about 6500 ready to roll, with roughly 900 lb of tongue weight. I have no problem at all with the hitch, it works well at all times. No sway, no weird instability, nice and solid. Does your TT tow OK? I agree completely here. I have a fairly large travel trailer and have used the Husky Centerline for two seasons. It’s noisy at low speeds, and during tight turns in the campground. I have no problems or worries about the hitch. Thanks! KevinRe: New to Me Chevy TahoeCongrats to one of my favourite posters! I remember your other trucks as well. Thanks! I towed through hills and dales, and through heavy wind and rain.Re: 3 regens in 300k walker111 wrote: I own a 2017 f350 with 6.7. Love the beast. Just noticed last weekend on a family trip that I drove about 300- 350 kilometers and had 3 regens. I know that shutting off or putting in park stops this cycle as I owned a 2012 for 5 years and intentionally tried to complete the regen. Anyone encounter this? The first was at highway speeds and it completed for sure. A bit miffed? Do you ever have issues with the DEF freezing? I'm a ways north of you, and I've had mine freeze before, and send up warning signals. I just had mine in the dealer last weekend, to thaw out the DEF and replace a pump. I'm under warranty as well, but a delete may be in my future, especially since the dealer does it.Re: 2019 Cross country RV trip planning chineselady00 wrote: Hello, everyone. This is Lily & Richard. I'm out in northern Alberta. Are you planning to come through southern Saskatchewan and Alberta on your way into, or back from BC? The roads are pretty flat out here, at least until you get into BC. I say that because it'll be easier on your F150. I've towed along that way, but I've always pulled with a diesel. Ask away! thanks! Kevin
