I had a slight shudder, carrier was fine, changed the gear oil, nice and quiet. If you go, bring mountain bikes -- you can ride (carefully) along the cliffs: Click For Full-Size Image. Don't think any of the campsites will fit either of the OP's RVs. Change "don't think" to "will not"......Nice campground away from the crowds but it is for small rv's, tenters..... SamRe: Went truck shopping, bought 2016 Ram 3500Good call and congrats! It doesn't get any better than that....:C SamRe: Tailgate - Advice neededSee if Handy industries makes one for a 3rd gen. I had one of their's on my 91 and my 2001 trucks. Very well built and heavy, I used to stand on mine all the time....and I am not a little guy either.....;) SamRe: 2014 Ram 3500 Laramie Longhorn Me Again wrote: Whatever the difference is, Laramie or Longhorn, I would what a 16. Seems everything came together with the 16. As I said before: 1. Camera user control, with ability to move bed view and park view between 8.4 and mirror displays. Park view on mirror sucks on earlier trucks if you have bed view camera in third stop light. 2. Park sense on the front 2015 3. Power following mirrors 4. Ability to see what gear is in(Aisin, not sure on 68RFE). Once cruising you push gear down once and the EVIC then shows highest gear and present gear. You what the Aisin tranny for sure! As stated earlier, it is unclear what RAM is doing with the buy back trucks. Does a buy back show up in a Carfax??????? Chris Adding to the list..... #5....The windshield wipers now have a single wipe mist feature. #6....The 8.4 radio has a few new features, you can edit the icons at the bottom of the screen and change the color scheme for the soft buttons. Also, I did a free carfax check with my 2014 3500 vin number, there is a comment of "manufacturer buyback or lemon reported" SamRe: 2014 Ram 3500 Laramie Longhorn Rangerman40 wrote: Ram4Sam wrote: zb39 wrote: It could have been a buy back for Ram. Get the 2016 for a couple of thousand more, a number of new features in the 2016..... Sam:) What was the issue with yours?? If I want a Longhorn it's not a couple grand.... More like 10k, which is significant cash to me. I can get a Laramie for a couple grand more though. The center panel switches (4x4, tow/haul, heat/cool seats, etc.) would not work on a regular basis, could not turn those on. Nine repair attempts, countless parts replaced, never fixed it. Their final thought was it was a software issue, can't be fixed, live with it....... SamRe: 2014 Ram 3500 Laramie Longhorn zb39 wrote: It could have been a buy back for Ram. And then sold at auction. If I do order a truck I might just go back to ford, but I am open to either brand. Stock on the 1 ton dually trucks in new England is very slim! That truck is 370 hp with 800 lbft of torque. It will do all you need.;) Ha! What fun is that....:Z Go big!! Sam
