I leave gas in them all off season and have never used any additives of any kind. There may be a little smoke upon starting in the spring but no problems doing this.BTW I'm 70 years old and started driving tractors at age 5. That is true.Re: B&W Customer ServiceWhen we got our B&W in 2013 WE even got a free one night of camping when we take a factory tour! Besides that, it's as close to a semi tractor fifth wheel as you can get. Heavy duty and worth the price.Re: Heartland vs. MontanaWe toured both plants (Heartland and Montana)and felt both had good quality features. We chose the Montana because of the floorplan and the design on the front framework behind the front cap} The Montana had all aluminum welded and the heartland had 2x2 lumber held together with screws. the particular unit we saw did not look like it would make it to the parking lot without falling apart. This may have been repaired before the front cap was installed. We'll never know and I'm not meaning to say Heartland is bad based one that one item. I felt they were both good units. Montana's floor plan just fit us better.Re: Talking in person to RV snowbirds...where do I find anyI've sent you a private message.Re: MailWe use UPS Mail forwarding. Your mail is sent to the UPS Store. While on the road, call them and tell them to send your mail to where ever you will be staying for a few days. It could be to general delivery at a town up the road a ways.Re: Toilet Ball Seal -- Winter Care?We put in about 1/4 cup of veg. oil and rv anti-freeze. Have not had a problem.Re: Ceiling lightsX2 Push up with the palm of your hand and turn ccw.I got so upset at not being able to get mine off for 2 years that I decided they ARE going to come off or break. It takes a good grip so don't be too gentle with the upward pressure. Try turning them back and forth to loosen them. They only have to turn about 1/4 to 1/2 inch to come loose. There are tabs that fit into notches. They unlock when turned C0UNTER CLOCKWISE! Keep the faith. you'll get 'em!Re: How do you long termers handle grey & black water? We leave everything closed. We dump once a week. Works good for us.Re: Do NOT be this guy---PICThis is a trick picture----Right?Re: Testing for “off road” or “red dye” diesel?Up until a couple of years ago, the WI state patrol would dip farmers pickups at the local cattle auction barn as most cattle trailers were pulled with diesels. Have'nt seen them around lately. I guess they were'nt making enough revenue to justify the time.
