Replacing rear stabilizers
The rear stabilizers on my travel trailer are near the rear bumper where they drag and have been damaged. So I'm replacing them with low profile scissors jacks. My question is where's the best place to mount the new jacks. If I mount them in the same spot they might get damaged also. Otherwise due to holding tank interference the farthest to the rear I can mount them is about halfway between the rear wheels and the bumper. They would be well protected there but I wonder if stability when walking in the trailer would be affected adversely. Anyone have any experience mounting jacks that far from the end of the trailer?711Views0likes3Comments
