We've been looking for a 5er in the 33-36 ft range. There is just the two of us and I'm accustomed to pulling a 33 ft TT, so I'm comfortable in that length. Have a chance to get a Big Country 3650RL for a really good price, which comes in at 39' 5", and I'm starting to think "another 3 1/2 feet, So what?" For all of you 5er veterans out there, at what point do you go from pulling a trailer to feeling like you've got about a million feet of trailer behind you? I'm sure it's different for everyone.Ever get bored?Plan is to go FT next May. My lovely wife is concerned about getting bored. She maintains a pretty hectic lifestyle, runs her own business and goes at warp speed most days. I think she worries about filling the hours every day. Anyone have boredom issues?Re: Thinking of Full Time would love some adviceI'm interested in the strong "buy used" sentiment in this thread. I can certainly see the financial/depreciation aspect, but what about other factors? - did the previous owner get rid of it because of some kind of problem? - do I want to live with someone else's funk around me? - What hidden maintenance issues are there?Re: What did you forget in your budget planning?Sos, Diane, Aridon, 2chiefs, Thanks for the insight. Exactly the kind of things I was looking for. I'll be around with a lot more questions, I'm sure. What did you forget in your budget planning? We are going FT next spring and, being the overplanner that I am, I have about a dozen different budgets. I'm curious about other peoples' experience with budgeting, specifically what budget line items did you miss when planning?
