Thanks for the reply. That is what the trailer repair shops said. My problem turned out to be finding a pin with the right dimensions. I used a dowl pin that was pretty close to the right size, and it seems to be working . I got a couple for safety. Thanks. I had the slide on my trailer that went out here at home and wouldn't pull back in before leaving on a trip. Had a mobile repairman come out and dropped the motor which was working, and the pin going into the socket an the drive or the rack and pinion track was destroyed. He has spent four weeks trying to find a replacement pin with no luck. I have now tried and found several pins, but am unsure what the requirement of the pin should be. A couple of the RV repair shops here said to use a shear pin shat would fit the 1/4" hole in the shaft long enough to fit the arms of the socket. I am not sure of the steel hardness of the pin. Calling Lippert who makes the motor, they said they don't sell the pins and said anything should do. I have boughten dowel pins that are 1/4"X 1 1/4" that look good and made a pin from a 8 hardness bolt using the smooth upper area of the 1/4" bolt which would probably be stronger and am unsure which to use, or does it matter? I have a 2016 Arctic Fox 25Y trailer with the NORCOLD N1095 refrigerator. Last year we ended the season with problems getting it to light on propane without failure and the LI-oP code. After several tries it would go. Our first two trips this year it would light and go fine, but the second trip at 2:30 in the morning it went out with the warning beeps. After several tries it worked and stayed on for several days. Have a fellow from our repair facility trying to find a fix, with no luck as of yet. It is supposed to be a problem with the high temp limit switch, and no replacement being found. Does anyone have a fix they could share? This puts a real crimp in the camping plans. Thanks. Sorry, it was early in the morning. It is 84. 26 comes in at Bend. 84 is a good road and 97 is a good road . Better for travel and more scenic. I try to get the layout on a map whenever possible. I don't trust the GPS very much. Take a breath and see the falls and dams. Some good fishing on the Colombia. I haven't been up there in 40 years though. It is not as bad as you must have heard. I have been taking it from Medford to Brookings with a truck camper and boat, 26' fifth wheel, and now a truck with a 15' boat on the top pulling a 30' travel trailer for nearly 50 years. I have a 2019 RAM 2500 diesel with a factory safety recall for the high pressure fuel pump and the local ram dealer says they are getting the replacements in about once a week, with over 200 on the waiting list, I will be waiting for several years to get it.
