As a "homecoming" gift for my wife I bought her a w/d combo. Before lugging this thing in I measured the space. it wont fit! The camper is set for a washer in the master closet, the connections are there but unless i am missing something I cannot hook it up. The space is 24" wide, the washer is 23.5" so good there. The issue is the connections are in a recessed box on the left that is lower then the top of the washer. There is less then 1/2" space between the side of the machine and the hookups not even enough room for the plug to fit. am I missing something or did keystone set my hookups too low? Washer is a splendide 7100xc it is 33" tall, the top of the recess is 26" off the ground. Sorry for the crummy pic, flash is broken Moderator edit to re-size pictures to forum recommended limit of 640px maximum width Re: Side Wall Ripped/broke while retracting slide-advise needed bid_time wrote: Forget Keystone, Jam the dealer. Tell the dealer he should be a stand up guy and replace the RV. Let him deal with Keystone - he chose to be the dealer for Keystone. Unfortunately the dealer we bought the unit from is not in the state we live in. The seller screwed up their end of the deal from day one and have been little help since. I should have walked from the deal at the start but after driving 600 miles with little kids to retrieve the unit I was too committed to back out... Lesson learned.Re: Side Wall Ripped/broke while retracting slide-advise neededAn update on this trailer: Keystone denied the request to return the unit to them for repairs and the local dealer has been working on it for the past 3 months. It is still not back in our possession, we have missed 3 delivery deadlines with the next "Promised pickup" 2 days from now. We were told it was ready on the 19th and during pickup inspection the slide failed again. This time the wall didnt crack but the roller that was the cause of the previous jam/failure bound up again. So we cancelled the 11th and the 12th (easter weekend) trip to allow another repair attempt. I have been in constant contact with Keystone but all I am getting is seemingly shallow apologies. During this last call the rep offered to cover the payments for the time the unit was in the shop. Once we told her that we didn't have payments she seemed at a loss for a "plan B" compensation. Not that I think an offer to cover payments is enough of a compensation anyway. Even if they get the slide working this attempt I am really so unhappy with this unit I feel keystone still should swap us out into another camper. Anyway, sorry for the rant!Re: Fiberglass Cracking on my 2015 MontanaI posted this on the Montana forums as well, Just to update the group. Keystone has not returned my calls however they did call the shop. They want the shop to cut into or cut out (not sure which) the fiberglass and patch the cracks. I am horrified by this idea but the shop says it is not a big deal, they have body guys and a paint both large enough for the whole unit to go in to be repainted. I think I have to let them at least try the repair, they need 10 days to do it so we shal see. In the mean time I think i need to get my ducks in a row on the laws concerning "Lemon" Status. My question is what states lemon laws prevail, Purchase state or registration state? I am assuming the state where i bought it (Florida) Not my state (Georgia) Also does it matter that I have not actually registered it yet? We bought it in September and by the time the Title arrived the unit was banished to the RV shop so I have not had the motivation to get it Titled in GA and pay the registration fees and Taxes. Thanks AdamRe: Fiberglass Cracking on my 2015 Montana NHIrish wrote: Sorry...but allowing them to sit on this for 13 weeks has not helped your situation. You need to get very assertive, very fast. Thankfully the unit has not been sitting waiting for 13 weeks. This unit has actually been in the shop a total of 17 weeks for 3 major slide/structure/wall related repairs. I have several dozen emails back and forth between keystone. The total time approved so far on my unit from keystone is almost 60 hours of shop labor before the latest crack... Most of the time lost seems to be waiting for the shop to hear from keystone, waiting for parts etc... Quite frustrating ordeal.Re: Fiberglass Cracking on my 2015 MontanaThanks for all the insight. I am not looking to "run to a lawyer" I just need to know what my options may be if this becomes even more of an issue. My shop initially requested keystone repair at their facility and they declined, That was before this crack showed up. Now that they have already completed the big side wall repair I am sure keystone will want them to tackle the side cracking too. I am happy to play nice as long as I can. Basically all i want is to have use of a camper that paid good money for and I want to use it for a long, long timeRe: Fiberglass Cracking on my 2015 Montana newman fulltimer wrote: It should have told you something when keystone did not even want it back.Do yourselfa favor get rid of the headache I really wish that was an option, I cannot afford to take the hit on selling this one after only 6 months. Our last bumper pull was a keystone and it was wonderful, not a single issue so we went with keystone again....Re: Fiberglass Cracking on my 2015 Montanait is still under warranty. Bought it in september. We tried to have it shipped back when the wall support failed and the slide jammed. They declined and the local shop has been working on it. Now it is almost camping season again and there is no time to get it to the factory@!Fiberglass Cracking on my 2015 MontanaWell my shop just called. My rig is been in for repairs for a broken wall support for 13 weeks and they just found another issue. They found a series of horizontal cracks in the fiberglass above the bedroom slide. They have not assessed them yet but I am curious what yall think. Cosmetic or more serious? Re: Front stabilizing jacksShould be fine, I did it on my 29' springdale to install a husky power jack.
