I have viewed your adventure with your Century and found encouragement :) Have you found any sources for Century parts/accessories? I'm missing several original things: bathroom sink, toilet, medicine cabinet, fridge. Would like to collect these things before rebuild. Thanks!! No, I didn't find any places that sell replacement parts. I have kept my original sink. I replaced the refrigerator with a small electric fridge and cut out the old door to fit the new fridge. Mine didn't have a bathroom so I wasn't in the same situation as you. You could always use generic bath parts from that era. Here is a site you might try. Vintage camper parts Here is a site that lists RV salvage yards RV salvage yardsRe: 1963 Century Travel TrailerThat really is a cute trailer. Shame it has all that damage and that the previous owner lied to you. That is always disheartening. It does have great potential though. Just take it one step at a time. I think you are right about it originally being all aluminum. I think all the Century's were like that. If you do strip it you will need to polish the aluminum. That was probably one of the hardest jobs on the whole thing. Please keep us posted on your progress.Re: 1959 Century gbopp wrote: Awesome. Fantastic job!! :C Thanks for sharing. How did you decide where to start? I basically started at the bottom and worked up. That was probably the hardest part, where to start. That was difficult because there was so much to do, but I just took it a step at a time. The hardest part was the very last part, the polishing.1959 CenturyWell guess it has been awhile since I posted on here. Went to last 12 months and couldn't find my last post. Finally completed my 1959 Century travel trailer. If you are interested here is a link to my blog that depicts all the work that went into it. 1959 Century RestorationRe: Knob Noster, MO State ParkI am from Missouri and have always found my stays at Missouri State Parks to be very enjoyable. We also camp hosted at Pomme De Terre State Park one fall and really enjoyed the experience. The Department of Natural Resources does a great job of maintaining and keeping the parks nice, especially considering the use they get.Re: HELP-need CG near Sturbridge, MassI like using Allstays website. You can filter by private, state, county campgrounds, etc. I have brought up the Mass. map. Here is the link. Mass. campground mapRe: Southern UtahHave you been to Capital Reef NP. Gorgeous campground, but not full hookup, just electric. Great area to explore. Some great hiking. Also Escalante Grand Staircase National Monument has some fantastic slot canyons. Here is a nice website to explore possibilities. American Southwest UtahRe: Capital Reef National ParkI've been there about 3 times and would still go back again. So many hikes and areas to explore. I love the campgrounds there at Capital Reef. I think it is one of my favorites. Here is a good link to help you discover what is there. Capital Reef NP Have a great time. I think your distribution of time is about right, but you will want to go back again in a couple of years :-).Re: Moab CampgroundsI like the BLM sites along the river northeast of Moab on 191 coming down from I-70. I don't think they have any hook ups or water but very nice campsites. Sorry that 128 not 191.Re: Grand Teton backcountry camping in RVI'd just stay at Gros Ventre campground. Nice, and convenient to the park sites and Jackson.
