Just a minor issues like the water pump/water lines being noisy and the skylight in the living area allows too much heat during hot sunny days, it needs a sun shade, both are correctable issues. I think you will be just as happy with your Kodiak trailer as we are. Happy camping.Re: Good Park near Louisville, KYTwo Rivers in Carrollton Ky & Follow the River RV Resort in Florence IN, both are Full Hookups & very nice & clean.Re: Charleston, SC CampgroundWe just spend a week at the KOA in Mt Pleasant and it was very nice & clean & the people were very friendly. The campground is close to nearly everything you would need. Very nice place.Re: keeping things coldWe turn ours on the night before we leave to get it cold. We load it with food when we hook up to leave & keep it on while traveling. We try to save the coolers for extra drinks for the long hot trips.Re: More Towing AdviceForgot to mention that detail. I do have an Equalizer weight distribution hitch. I agree with both of you, would never pull anything close to this size with out one. Thanks for your comments, greatly appreciated.More Towing AdviceWe currently have a 2008 Silverado 1500,5.3L with a 3:42,4 speed transmission. Our truck's GVWR is 6800, GCWR is 12,000 and a max towing of 6700. We are pulling a Wildwood XL 261BH,fully loaded is close to 5200lbs. Our truck pulls it great,at times we do not know its even behind us. Here is our question....we are looking at a Catalina 273TBS with a dry weight of 5500. We took our truck to the CATS Scale and with a full tank of gas and 3 of us that go camping, the weight was 5580. With our truck and camper fully loaded we are looking at around 300 below our 12,000 GCWR also slightly below our 6800 GVWR and the Max Towing of 6700. The Travel Trailer dealer of course said we would have no problems if we stay below our 12,000 and we would be safe. I fully understand they tell you anything to make a sale. I have also spoke with GM and they also said we should have no issues of safety and the truck should have no issues towing if we stay within the trucks numbers. We are looking for opinions of others who have or had similar set ups.Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Here is ours the day we picked it up at the dealer. And one the way home. We can't wait for the weather to get warmer to get it out for the first time.
