Calling now !!!!!!!!!!!!!Re: RV park in the hill countryFishing is always good even if there aint no fish . Tks for the help all.RV park in the hill countryIm looking to spend Dec in the hill country and I am seeking an rv park that is on the water for fishing, and has an enclosed swimming pool and hot tub? Perhaps on the Colo, Frio, Brazos, or Guadalupe rivers? Any suggestions please??Re: which generator would you recommend?Personally I would first consider my budget. Then I would consider noise level. Nothing wrong with champions. Most everyone on here that has owned one likes it. You are going to have those one here that will harass you about having a generator while camping or for not opting for a $1000 honda or yamaha. The fact is, is that if the campground allows generators and you need or want to use it, then by all means, as long as it's within the rules. If they don't like it, then they should find a place that doesn't allow them or at least a loop in campground that doesnt allow them. I think you must be the ones parked next to us in Fla one summer in a cargo trl converted to a room. Champion ran 24/7 and it didn't even have a muffler.Re: waste totesI have a TT parked at a lake in ETX. The park has no sewer sites so we all have to go to the dump station. Now mine there has a porch, it is covered overhead with a wooden shed. Has semi permanent steps attached and a covered patio. If I had to take all that down and put back up every time I had to dump, LOL. So I use the blue tote, hook the handle on my rear trailer ball and tow it to the dumps.Re: waste totesOn the rear of the fiver.Re: Mobile RV RepairWe have a mobile tech or 5 at the park that I call mostly home. He likes all of us fulltimers/snowbirds, follow the weather. He lives in Colo during the summer heat, and in our neck of the woods during the winter. He is without doubt the most reliable of techs (or as some call themselves, rv repairmen) in the area. I and many others put off our repairs that we can live thru, until he arrives in Oct. From Oct thru Feb, he is constantly busy. Even the rv places in town recommend him over their own shops. That is what you need to strive for.
