The government procedure with any equipment or systems is "Keep Fixing It Until it is Broken. Will not say what I did prior to retiring however was quite a few different positions.Re: Question about a motorhome's dash air conditionerNo the compressor for the dash ac is run by the engine so no cooling only fan with engine off.Re: Retro RV QuestionI also found a good selection of radial whitewall tires and should be able to find them with the proper load rating for the trailer. https://www.lucasclassictires.com/RADIAL-White-Wall-Tires_c3.htmRe: Retro RV QuestionI do have wide whitewalls and surprising enough it came with Bias Ply tires that remind me of when I started as an auto tech in the 60'S. Have had no problems with them. I believe they are made by Corker.Re: Retro RV QuestionI have a Riverside Retro 2017 Model 199FKS that is great. Was 25K before trade in and indeed draws attention in the CG. At the time was the only one with a slide. Is listed as a 21 foot but overall is 25 feet.Re: Where to buy woodI read these posts a lot and do not usually add my 2 cents however I can't resist here. I went to an RV park in southern Nevada and when checking in I purchased a couple bundles of fire wood. After I got set up and was ready to set up the fire pit I looked at the wood and what a surprise, it was imported from Canada. So bringing my own wood does not bother me at all.Re: TV gearing.I have the same model tv and I changed to 3.73 and it made a huge difference towing hard to tell trailer is back there without looking in mirror. The gear change also increased my gas mileage.Re: Front Kitchen TTRegarding front kitchen travel trailer, I just purchased a 2017 Riverside Whitewater Retro 199 FKS that has a front kitchen rear bedroom with closets on both sides of the walk around bed has one slide, front and side windows and so far we love it. Maiden voyage will be labor day weekend. My only complaint so far is the ac and the kitchen and living area does not stay very cool in 110 plus temps.
