The one ac was adequate if you wanted it cooler not cold. Had to stay on top of the temperature; that is, had to turn on the ac before the inside got really warm. In general, if it was 100 outside and parked in partial shade, it would be 80 inside.Re: Work-anywhere towing assistance? What you want does exist. Check out FMCA, Family Motor Coach Association. They now offer membership to all types of RV’s. Age of the vehicles or RV is not a consideration. (I am in Western Washington State.) The inspection was very thorough and the report detailed. I also had the inspector take samples of the coolant, oil, and transmission fluid for and submit them for lab analysis. They do not value the RV, only inspect and recommend items for correction or further inspection.Re: Anyone know of a seller for a dash cover rug or matBlondie's Pit Stop has dash covers, sheepskin seat covers, sun shades, floor covers & mats, etc. https://blondiespitstop.com/Re: Are damage deposits at parks customary?I ran into that at a upscale RV Resort in Palm Springs, CA. (Mainly a snow bird park.) The sites were individually owned and rented by the community sanctioned real estate office. Since I really wanted to stay in the area and this had the only available space, I went ahead and signed a rental agreement and mailed a check for the deposit. I was supposed to get my deposit back within two weeks after departure. It took many phone calls and another two weeks to finally get my money back. I would never do it again.Re: Winnebago Sunstar 27N QuestionI had a 2013 Winnebago Vista 27N. I flat towed a 2013 Honda CR-V, weight about 3,900 pounds. I couldn’t tell the difference in power or gas mileage when towing. The 27N is a little hotrod; great going over the mountains. I had it seven years and made many summer trips in the west. The one ac was adequate if you wanted it cooler not cold. Had to stay on top of the temperature, that is had to turn on the ac before the inside got really warm. It kept the temperature about 15 degrees cooler than outside. The windshield fans are helpers for defrosting the windshield. If you are in an area where the windshield fogs up they are very useful. I had my right side mirror removed by a semi in a rest area. If you don’t rip the mounting bolts out of the side, they would be easy to remove and reattach. Four bolts hold the housing and the electric connection is a plug in.Re: Hook up those safety chainsGot to love the British tabloids. Within an hour after an event they have posted an article, usually somewhat disjointed and rambling, with a zillion pictures.Re: What do you do with cat at Campgrounds Pangaea Ron wrote: Thanks for all the comments, I have questions also. We adopted a 4 month old cat that is now 8 months old and is an indoor cat. We have a harness and leash for her (never yet used), but will practice with her before we take the MH out next week The last time we took her in the MH, she dropped over the back on the couch/bed, crawled underneath and spent much time there. She couldn't get out herself and we needed to extend the bed to get her out. . . and then she went back underneath again. She's much more social now and I'm trying to fabricate a barrier at the back of the couch. I was afraid my cat would get stuck behind the sofa so I bought some cheap large body pillows and stuffed them in the space behind it. this way he can still sit on the back of the sofa and look out the window and not get behind it.Re: Hire company to drive Motorhome homeI used Showroom Transport to deliver a new-to me motorhome I purchased from a private party. The driver flew into a nearby airport and drove the motorhome to my residence 1,500 miles away. He updated his progress via text. The company was insured, bonded. Fuel and transport plates were included in the fee.Re: CoronavirusI have wondered about the "upper respiratory virus" my cat had in late February. He was sneezing a lot and had a real raspy horse meow. No eye or nasal discharge. His appetite was good and he didn't seem to be in any distress. Hard to tell if a middle-aged cat is sleeping more than normal. I took him to the vet's and $800 later they diagnosed an upper respiratory virus and said to let it run its' course, no meds required. Two more days and he seemed just fine. About the same time I had what I thought was a mild cold with a general run-down feeling. Now I am questioning what we both might have had.
