We have the small Weber gas Q series. How hot does the BS get underneath? Can it be used on a truck tailgate without damage to the tailgate? Thanks in advance!Re: Fire Cube Gen 3Thank you to all that replied. Great info! I'm continuing to read reviews on "Smart TV's", and I'm better prepared to know what questions to ask when shopping for a new TV. I can remember the days when we had three black and white channels and rabbit ears.Fire Cube Gen 3Needing some help from the Tech Savvy folks. We have an old plasma TV, Panasonic Vista. It's about 15-20 years old. We want to update the TV to a "Smart TV". We currently have an Amazon Firestick that's about three years old that we use on our old dumb TV, the Panasonic. Will we need a Firestick with a new "Smart TV"? Do the new TV's come with the Firestick electronics built in? I know that I can just move our old Firestick to the new Smart TV if needed. But I would probably just upgrade to the new Fire Cube Gen 3. I know from Youtube and from reading that the new TV's come with specific operating systems, like Android, Apple, or Roku. Thanks in advance.Re: Streets & Trips ReplacementBase Camp is a very powerful program with a ton of great features. BUT, it's freaking Bi#@h to learn. Base camp has been our main routing software for several years. Once your home computer and your GPS have the same map version they play well together. Just my opinion....Re: Portable Gas HeatersWe have used the Big Buddy heater in a 30'bumper pull since 2006. It throws off heat like a fireplace. It's quiet, puts out a ton of heat, and is safe. Crack a side window an inch or so, and crack a vent and you're good. Thousands of deer and elk hunters use these heaters in zipped up tents all over the country. I've don't recall reading about fatalities. They're safe.Re: Wenatchee Washington to Manila Utah, Routing.Azdryheat: Well, I have two brothers that live in the Phoenix area. It's been blistering hot down there this summer. Temps in the 100teens day after day. Now that's hot! We get a few days here over 100, but not too many. Enjoy the dry heat...Re: Flaming Gorge to Page Az. Monument Valley, Escalante NPGreat Suggestions!!! We've been to Durango CO twice, but haven't been to Mesa Verde. Thank you. Bear's ears, amazing pics. Never heard of that. We've been to Bryce twice, and Zion, plus the North Rim. We want to boondock around Escalante. We've driven Utah 12 before and been to Goblin Valley (?) Amazing places. What about camping in Monument Valley? Thank YouRe: Flaming Gorge to Page Az. What about camping in Monument Valley? Thank YouFlaming Gorge to Page Az. Monument Valley, Escalante NPWe're going to be in the Flaming Gorge area for the two weeks (or so) in September 2020. We also want to go to Page Az, Monument Valley, and Escalante NP, I'm still trying to sort out the order of travel to hit these spots. I'm thinking of heading south from Flaming Gorge, go through Moab, and drop south from there. Hit Monument Valley, then Page, then Escalante. I would prefer to stay east of Salt Lake City and hit spots in Eastern Utah. Any suggestions on Monument Valley, Page, or Escalante campgrounds would be appreciated. We love ancient peoples history. Does anyone have input on boating on Lake Powell our of Page? We are considering renting a boat for a day trip, or just going on one of the tour boats, say to Rainbow Bridge... What say you. Thanks in advance for your help. Stay safe!Wenatchee Washington to Manila Utah, Routing. We are leaving Wenatchee WA enroute to Manila Utah next week. My plan is to head south through Boise, then turn east on 84 at Ogden. Take 80 out of Fort Bridger to Manila. We have a week or two to Boondock around Flaming Gorge, we've never been to this area, so we're looking forward to some campfires and scenery. The weather forecast is for snow and cold this week, but it appears to be a storm front that's just passing through. Thanks in advance for sharing your input...
