Rig is new-ish, but had sat on dealer lots, so battery is probably 1 & 1/2 years old. Had a dead cell (per hygrometer). I went the Wal-Mart cheap deep cycle route. Thought about 2x6V and all of that, but just kept it simple. $70 and 1 hour later, we have a good house battery.Re: What did you do to your Class C MH today???Used my newly installed Genturi. Works great. Doesn't reduce noise very much. Does reduce stink at ground level, A LOT.Re: What did you do to your Class C MH today???Used silver tape in the hot/cold baffle of the AC. This is a new rig and AC. Made a huge difference, just taping up some finger width cracks and such.Re: What did you do to your Class C MH today???Washed Bugs from a Louisiana Gulf Coast trip. Put spacers in the front Hellwig anti-sway that I left out when I installed it a couple of weeks ago. Just figured out where they fit while driving along!Re: What did you do to your Class C MH today???Packed it for a trip.Re: What did you do to your Class C MH today???Put the front Bilstiens on. Test drove it. Noticeably better over "whoop de doos" with the Bills vs Stock. Dips in, recovers, no bounce.Re: What did you do to your Class C MH today???Front End alignment. Guy said caster/camber were pretty good, toe was way off. After alignment, drives in the wind much better!Re: What did you do to your Class C MH today???Aimed the headlights (relatively new rig, they were WAY in the trees)Re: What did you do to your Class C MH today???Put the front bar on. So, net change is from stock front/rear bar to Hellwig front/rear anti-sway. The Hellwigs are MUCH thicker and heavier than stock. Took it on a 5 mile loop test drive. Cornering and body roll on bumps was pretty good before; now it is excellent. Absolutely flat. Jerk the steering, hard, and it just changes lanes, no roll. Potholes are a breeze. Speaking of breeze, it was very windy today. Still some tracking issues and getting blown around, but all flat... no roll.Re: What did you do to your Class C MH today???Haven't driven it yet, there's a front bar and 4 Bilstein shocks to install in the next couple of days. I'll report back on first drive after that. This is a 2008 chassis E450 and was really pretty good before the upgrades. Not perfect, but pretty good. So, we'll see...
