I've already ordered curb ramps (found useful info and reviews here https://curbrampreviews.com/, maybe this source will be useful for someone else) and now I'm waiting for the contractors to come and pave the driveway. Thanks for the helpful info and tips!Re: Chevy Silverado EV liamricci wrote: I need to find a proper seat cover for my chewy . Any ideas where to look for that? I suggest checking Chevy seat covers at WetOkole. I've been buying seat covers for all our cars there for several years. This shop offers a wide choice at affordable prices. First, I can always find the covers exactly for my car models. Second, they are neoprene and can be washed. I forgot those times when I had to look for cleaning products to clean the seats. And of course, such seat covers are great for traveling. Re: ebike for a heavy rider?I have a Himiway Cobra Electric MTB and I'm more than pleased with it. I should say, that it took me some time to make the choice, especially when it came to the size. But I was lucky to find a good guide here https://www.bikertricks.com/bike-size-chart/ that helped me figure it out.Re: Odd Experience While Camping - Lesson LearnedFortunately, we haven't faced any similar situations. I wonder what I would do. My biggest concern in such cases is to protect my children. They are small to not understand the threat. Are there any services I can address (except for the police) if I feel in danger because of such strangers when camping? Also, are there any other security solutions?Re: Need warm enough campground for Oct liamricci wrote: How did you end up solving the issue? I'm in a similar situation right now. My friend suggested living in his mobile home while I'm building the house. But there is no HVAC system in it. It is so hot inside right now. Also, I don't know how long I will stay here, so maybe it is worth thinking about heating as well. It is great that your friend decided to help you and you have a place to live right now. Speaking about HVAC, there are different options. You can consider installing package unit https://alphamechanicals.com/blog/mobile-home-hvac-systems-installation-guide/ in mobile home. This is an all-in-one system (the compressor, coils, and air handler are combined in a single unit that is installed outside). I should say, it is a popular choice for cooling such homes. Though it may require ducts. Also, a mini-split unit might be a good choice. As for heating, you can later add a heat pump to an existing mobile home furnace if needed.Re: buying RV out of state - what contract to use / other advise Udicomo wrote: Hi guys! Finally I am ready for my first RV but how to choose? What is the best affordable option? I'd recommend checking the biggest dealers first. I had a great experience with MHSRV. You can check the reviews here https://motor-home-specialist.pissedconsumer.com/review.html to find out other people's experiences. Hope it helps.Re: Free Kindle Cookbook - Available for a limited time liamricci wrote: We need to think of alternative menu during our camping trips, as my wife was just diagnosed with the type 2 diabetes. Any suggestions? If your wife takes her meds and has already changed her diet, you won't face any issues, but it is better to create a product list beforehand. Being a Type 2 diabetic myself, I always buy Victoza online in advance. As for products, I take eggs, fruits, vegetables, rice, pasta, chicken and fish (I like them grilled), granola bars, and nuts. If you like marshmallows, you can look for sugar-free ones. I was happy when found them.Re: Best security cameras for travel trailer? liamricci wrote: What about Google Nest. Is it good? I didn't try it by myself, but when I was looking for a camera, I read much about Nest. Its main competitor is Arlo, I guess. And I ended up addressing arlo customer service via this source https://arlo.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html and choosing the Arlo Ultra camera because of the 4K video resolution, color night mode, and flexible power options. It also has an integrated spotlight and the whole thing is powered with a rechargeable battery pack. I didn't regret that decision.Re: Buy RV in USA & drive it down? Or after I arrive in Mexico? Riley White wrote: Where do you guys look for RVs? Is FB a decent place for searching one? I can also recommend checking Motor Home Specialist (MHSRV). I read the reviews about it here https://motor-home-specialist.pissedconsumer.com/review.html. It is supposed to be the biggest motorhome dealer in the world. At least, it no doubt can help with buying an RV in Mexico.Re: Direct TV QuestionI watch sports mostly on Dazn (here is a good review https://dazn.pissedconsumer.com/review.html if someone is interested). This is a great sports streaming service. I have a subscription, but it has to be noted that you can watch all of the free videos on the homepage from start to finish even if you don't pay for the service. But thanks for the recommendations!
