Thank you all for your advice. The humidity and heat have been terrible in WI this week which has made the odor worse. We have owned several other travel trailers but don't recall it being this bad. If we spent one night in a hotel in Spearfish and then 2 nights at Stockade Lake (Custer State Park) or another private campground, do you think that would be sufficient or is another night needed? My husband and I were in the area in 2011 and this time we are traveling with a 6 year old. We are headed to Yellowstone this June (planning on camping 6 days in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons) and on the way back home to Wisconsin would like to stay in the Black Hills for a couple of nights to take in the area attractions. We were in the Black Hills/Badlands area six years ago before our son was born but stayed in hotels. Any recommendations of must sees or campgrounds that we should stay at or stay away from? Does anyone else have an issue with their cooling fan sounding like it is dying in their travel trailer? Or have theirs come on when one or more of the lights are on and then go off when the lights are shut off? This is the first time we have experienced this in the three travel trailers we have own so just curious. We tried replacing the fan itself but it still does the same thing.
