Most sofa beds have that rather uncomfortable bar through the middle of the bed. Instead of having the bar to support the mattress, ours dips in the middle, horribly. There is no support for the center of the mattress. Whoever sleeps on the sofa bed can't help but roll to the center of the mattress, it is that bad! Has anyone out there had this problem? Thanks!!Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsIs there a way to turn down the thermostat on the water heater? Thanks!:CRe: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsI will check to see if the filter is wet....if that is the case, what do I do about it?Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsWe noticed something on our 2004 Pace Arrow the other day. While we were traveling, we were caught in a nasty rain storm. This is the third time we have been caught in a rain storm while driving the MH. After a few minutes the engine begins to cut out. Once the rain stops, the problem is gone. Every time we are driving in rain, the engine does this. Any ideas??? Thanks!Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsMeme&Ray, We have the same unit as you. We have not been satisfied with the wind sensor at all. I did not know there was a "rain dump" feature. Obviously that feature is not working, because we have had the awning out during an unexpected rain storm and were left with a mess. (My husband under the awning trying to push it up to get the water out of it) I will be surely check this one out!! Thanks for the tip!! Take care!!Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsI purchased new batteries today. Around here, they are not easy to find, but I finally found them. Nevertheless, that solved the problem! The batteries are holding a charge! Yahoo! Thanks for all the help!! Take care...Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsHello! We are having an issue with our coach batteries. We lost electricity indefinitely in our house due to hurricane Rita, so we are camping in our driveway right now. When we start the engine, we read the voltage of the coach batteries, which is maxed out. (This is done without any coach lights on). Once the engine is turned off, the voltage drops...fast from 13.5 to 8...in a few seconds. I have checked the water in the batteries, and the water level is perfect. The solar panel is showing that it is receiving a charge during the day. Could the coach batteries be bad?? Is this what happens when the batteries are going bad? My husband is in management with a home improvement company, and he is off working after the hurricanes, so I am trying to take care of this on my own. I appreciate any advice! Take care!Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsHello all! My husband travels during the week, so I do all the maintenance on the PA and get it ready for all our trips. I am having a problem, though, and need some help. It's not really a PA problem, but I trust y'all to help me through it! Our battery won't hold a charge. I can jump start the MH, and all is well. A day later the battery is dead again. I can't imagine the battery would have died already...the rig is less than a year old! Any ideas?? Take care!Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsWe were going to have our shocks replaced. Our Fleetwood service rep told us that he was 99% sure Workhorse would replace them. However, Workhorse wanted an empty weight of the coach. You have got to be kidding me. I asked the rep to clarift "empty weight." He said nothing in it at all. All the tanks empty, fuel thank almost empty, no clothing, dishes, tools, ANYTHING. Here's my problem with that. My husband's job requires him to travel out of state during the week. It has taken us almost a year to get all the stuff we need in the MH. I don't think I can get half of the stuff out of it! Has anyone alse had to do this??Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsWe just returned yesterday from a 10 day trip to Orlando (Disney World) from the Houston area. We had to leave a day early to get ahead of Tropical Storm Arlene. We were supposed to stay in Pensacola the night it hit in Pensacola. Needless to say, we didn't. We left the night before we were scheduled to leave, and drove non stop to Tallahassee to get past the worst of the storm. Once we got to Tallahassee, we stopped at the first campground we found to drop anchor and get some sleep. This was our longest trip so far in our PA. No real problems on the trip. The only minor problem was during a horrible lightning storm when power was lost for I don't know how long, but we couldn't get power back in the MH. We plugged something else in outside and it worked fine. I took our daughter swimming while my husband worked on it. He told me that he checked every breaker, connection, fuse and switch in the MH until the power came back on. It's a mystery! The only negative result of the lightning storm was our outside TV was pretty much fried. Only half of the screen works now, and it will not connect to any source (DVD, Satellite, Etc.) Take Care!
