In the grill / pellet smoker run it up to 400 degrees and BAM, you have a great personalized pizza! Re: Pictures of your Motorhome and where home base is at. Why not year and model. Very nice rig!!! Something tells me, we will eventually upgrade from our fifth-wheel. 🙂 Do you pull a vehicle behind it? Re: Our Camping Fur Babies Kev is a great pickup truck riding buddy. Petra would just assume puke and drool all over the backseat. LOL Re: Texas Smoked Brisket I run the pellet smoker at 225 the entire time. Once the internal temperature of the brisket reaches 145, then I wrap it in foil. When the internal temperature hits 205, I take it off the smoker. Crack the foil and let the brisket rest until the internal temperature drops to around 170, then slice it. I start out with usually a 10-12 pound brisket, trim off the excess fat on the cap and slab and yield around 8 pounds. However, the overall smoking time is based off of original package weight so, the brisket will usually go for 10-12 hours overall. Note, I also use a remote digital thermometer so, I can keep an eye on the temperature at all times. Our Camping Fur Babies Bleu Kev Petra In-line Water Meter This is something that we have found to be really handy when filling up our fresh water tank or when flushing the black tank. Don't worry, we have two different in-line water meters for each of the mentioned applications, LOL! It's pretty much a guessing game when filling up the freshwater tank unless it is completely empty. We would rather fill up to almost full rather than let it overflow and potentially cause a suction and draining water from the tank. It works great every time when flushing the black tank. We can fill up to whatever number of gallons and drain no problem. Anyway, thought we would share! Re: RVing with Anxious Dog over Holiday Our vet has given us anti-anxiety medication for our dogs. Works pretty good for separation anxiety, fireworks, thunderstorms and road trips. Re: Introduce Yourself! I was actually on a quick road trip to Augusta, GA a few weeks ago and had to stop at the Buc-ee's in Leeds, AL! Suzy loves her Buc-ee's t-shirts so, now she has a "Ala Buc-ee Bama" shirt to add to the collection, LOL! I agree, not the easiest for RV's when it comes to filling up but, there is quite a bit of room to just park. Can't go wrong with clean restrooms either, LOL! Texas Campers? We have been looking through the Groups and figured maybe Texas is considered part of the South Group??? If so, we are full time RV'ers in Texas, just north of Fort Worth near Texas Motor Speedway. It would be cool to meet up with others that may want to do group trips! Cheers, Brent and Suzy Re: Is there a favorite app for monitoring bridge heights on routes when traveling? Our son is a truck driver and he has been talking about Trucker Path. He says it's pretty handy with his company ELD app.
