All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Domicile / mail servicesI am in a somewhat similar situation. I need a domicile address for a DL and such more so than actually getting mail. Does any one have experience with UPS store or any of the other virtual mailbox services they would suggest?Re: Bird feeder questionsThanks for the input. NPs aren't a worry for me. for the reasons listed I will skip it or perhaps do a hummingbird feeder only (I would imagine no critter risk since tthere are no seeds/nuts only sugar water). Don't suppose there are mini hummingbird horror stories?Bird feeder questionsI'm considering getting a suction cup window bird feeder. Does anyone know if this is a no no due to mice? I have a sealed underside but don't want to push my luck. Does anyone have any experience with this?(I've seen plenty of rvs with standing feeders 15-20ft from rig but I am wondering about having it at the rv)Re: Suburban 3burner/stove comboAha a breakthrough. There were 2 locks on the outside door. The pop open (no rotating). Only minor inconvieniance is I probably need to close it when not in use so not to let cold air in. It was 8 degrees last night.Re: Suburban 3burner/stove comboI haven't checked the vent door. Good suggestions.Re: Suburban 3burner/stove comboJust looking thru stuff in the owners manual packet and it says to allow for an "adjustment period" when using the oven the first time. That things might not cook as expected at first. For all that is worth.Re: Suburban 3burner/stove comboHaven't been venting other than the range fan until the alarms go off (usually only takes a minute lol ). Cold outside, got 7 or 8 inches of snow today. I will probably be in Prineville in June but could probably make a trip :).Re: Suburban 3burner/stove comboYes I have had the fan on. but it doesn't extend over the front burner so it seems that the front one doesn't vent thru there. Interesting about the holes. I had the pizza on the grate which was on the lowest slot of 3 you could have it. Maybe if I move the grate up a slot or 2 it will have better results.Re: Suburban 3burner/stove comboI'm in Central Oregon outside of Sisters. I get pizza stones are awesome I just didn't know there were such hot spots compared to a oven with a coil. Also wish there was a way to use my front burner without setting off the alarms everytime. Usually happens within a minute even just trying to boil water.Re: Suburban 3burner/stove comboThanks, good suggestions. I guess using a pizza stone is necessary for a propane oven vs one with a coil (I've never had to use a pizza stone before and have never had any problem in ovens I've had at houses). Good to know about the front burner vs rear ones. Although it is kinda dissappointing to know I need to use that one almost exclusively and will set off the alarm everytime.
