I have the Torklift Superhitch, I have Pac Spring airbags both installed on the truck already, I called and spoke with the factory before purchasing the sway bar, specifically about fitment issues with the aftermarket air bags and the Torkslift hitch. The person I spoke with at the factory told me, "No Problem It Will Bolt Right Up No Fitment Issues".... I knew this was not really going to happen with the Torklift Hitch, but whatever I had to have a swaybar and a big one, with the exception of fabricating my own swaybar setup myself at our race-shop, I figured I would be able to figure out whatever was needed. I bolted up to the axle no problem, however the links did not work as I thought with the Torklift Superhith, the saddle to hold the swaybar end did not align up correctly and the Superhitch was WAY in the way. I had to fabricate an additional bracket to allow the links to be in double shear, and weld the brackets to the Superhitch and the frame on the truck. Yes, there is some major fabrication needed to make the fit with Torklift Superhitch. I had zero fitment issues with any exhaust components. This addition to the truck is not for the squeamish or someone that does not have some fab skills or access to them. This is for the Big Wig 1 5/16" swaybar with Superhitch reciver ONLY. I don't know about the other applications. RobRe: Host Everest or Cascade owners? The sink is dumping into the black tank, in the slide, under the couch or dinette. Its more than a enough tank capacity for black.Re: Truck Campers in Las VegasI've stayed there numerous times, no shade, but full hookups. Power and water are in plentiful supply. It's actually a very nice place to stay all things considered. Try to get a spot not in the middle, stay on the outer areas, not as much traffic as the middle pull through spots. Have fun. RobRe: Host Mammoth Question. Thanks, really appreciate you posting this!Re: Host Mammoth Question. brinson wrote: Ok, I talked to Shurflo and they instructed me to make one full turn on the allen screw for the pressure regulator. This did stop the cycling of the pump when not in use. I also talked to Host and there is a 1/4 turn guard valve that must been shut when connecting to city water. It was not labeled like all the other valves are. When the valve is shut it will prevent water from flowing backwards into the tank. There is no inline check valve on this system that I could find. Only the suction and discharge check valves in the pump head which are just rubber flaps and allowed the water to flow through the pump. Can you post a picture of when this valve is located in the basement? I'm having the same problem, and the water pressure when hooked up to city water is HORRIBLE, and I have had it to the dealer twice to try to solve the problem. The pump pressure is actually better than city water connection.......Re: First extended trip with new HostJust as an FYI, my CO/LP monitor would not stop going off either, brought it to the dealer, it was defective. There was a defective batch that were installed in the campers. Just call your dealer, they should be replace no charge.Re: Newer Trucks with worse suspension for hauling truck camper?Just as a point of reference, I purchased a 2016 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually, Longhorn Laramie Edition, in Feb of 2016. I ordered this truck loaded, however I did not order the factory airbags, or a sunroof, everything else it came with, dual alternators, ... etc. I now own a 2017 Host Mammoth, I purchased the truck specifically for this camper. Yes the printed weights don't match up... Weight Police, please back off, I'm aware of my liabilities... As a point of reference, I added upper and lower Torklift Stableloads, and a set of Pacspring airbags. The truck tows the Mammoth with ZERO ISSUES, it stops on a dime, takes off the line like a rocket. I tow it up the mountains in AZ and up the Salt River Canyon road, and then some. No sway, no bounce, the ride is amazing. I don't know where the idea that the rides are bad, however I don't have these issues. For refrence, I run 30 lbs of air in the bags, and run front and rear tires at 76lbs. This is with a fully loaded Mammoth. The Ram 3500 is a beast of truck and especially for towing a TC. No regrets on my end and I spend plenty of $ on both the truck and the camper, paid for both in cash, so I promise you I would be extremely picky if the ride was anything but excellent. I forgot to add, that's also towing my 21' Skeeter bass boat or my rockbuggy. Hope this helps some with questions of ride quality.Re: Host Mammoth Privacy DoorI took mine apart and altered the termination on the loop of the velcro, and then re-sewed it. The straps from the factory are a little loose. Next time I'm at the camper, I will take some pictures and post them.Re: Ordered Host Mammoth Spearfisherman71 wrote: mkasner wrote: Why didn't host just install the far superior tank system instead of using the same old sensors that are horribly inaccurate? I actually requested them to install the seelevel gauges but it was told they weren't allowed to. I didn't question their reasoning for that. When I ordered our Mammoth, this was the first thing I asked for on my list... Like you said, I got the, "No we don't install the SeeLevel Gauges". So when I was at the factory during the tour, I asked Randall why they did not install or offer the options for the SeeLevel gauges. He responded something like this, "These gauges are extremely complex to install at the time of production, and the tanks are already wired for the standard gauges, besides the sensors are so sensitive that for the long term, its' easier to offer the standard gauges" This was not verbatim, however this was a recap of what he said. I ordered our SeeLevel gauges as soon as our Mammoth came in, I have not installed them yet, however they are here, I had them on my 1121 Lance, and don't know how I could live without them... LOLRe: Finalized our Host Mammoth Today!!We have a garage filled with the stuff we took out of our old Lance 1121 we traded in on this camper.... I can't believe how much stuff came out of the old camper, and worse yet, it's been in our garage now for about a month..... It's driving us crazy, there is stuff everywhere. We are really looking forward to getting everything sorted out and put back in the new camper and ready for a shakedown run with it! Hoping to take it out next weekend for a test run! We ordered an online mattress from eluxury and it delivers tomorrow, the rest of the items that we have ordered for it that Host could not provide are sitting in our spare bedroom ready to be installed. My Lance had a Stableload system on it, so I had the dealer get all the Torklift stuff in early and installed it about a month ago. Everything is ready to go, just need to get the 400lb piece of concrete of the bed of the truck, been using it to ballast for the road trips I have been doing lately. Makes the 3500 DRW ride so much smoother... I will post up pictures as soon as I have a chance! Thanks
