"GO BAGS" - what's in yours?
We're FT in a MOHO & we don't have one. What type of situations do you prepare for & what's in you Go-Bag? After hearing about several friends who have had RV fires, we're working on our fire box. Any suggestions for type of fire box & contents?? Thanks3.1KViews0likes10CommentsCOLUMBIA RIVER GORGE
In addition to the fabulous waterfalls along historic rt. 30 be sure to visit USACOE Bonneville Lock & Dam @ Exit 40. Power House 1 was built during the Depression & dedicated in 1937 by FDR. Self guided tours, fish viewing windows & Ranger led power house tours available. If you're lucky you may get to see a barge carrying logs & wood chips head into the lock. Then head 4 miles east to the little town of Cascade Locks for the greatest, largest frozen custard @ Eastwind Drive In. Unique opportunity in gorgeous Columbia River Gorge. US Army Corps of Engineers needs workampers Sept. to mid Nov.2016 at Bonneville Lock & Dam Oregon. Work 3 on/3 off for amazing site on an island in the middle of the river. Duties include bookstore & gift shop sales, greeting visitors, providing interpretive services, answering questions about the facilities, fish ladders, navigation lock and the salmon. I have one on my Newmar and it is damaging the rear of the coach. Ok if you are always on level ground. But some driveways have deep drops and that causes issues. I'm going to put mine in the trash. Took it off to go to Alaska and didn't get on ding. And that was on gravel roads under repair.566Views0likes0Comments
