CS simultaneously badmouths doro as a reliable product that can last more than 2 yrs, then tells me to just order another. i am an engineer who hates to waste equipment for want of a simple part, or else i would just have CS send me another $50 flip phone. CS said any unlocked gsm phone will do. bestbuy says good luck finding one. any helpful ideas. ( i am low vision, so larger print is very valuable} TIARe: What type of roof is this? Very interesting video.i got interested in solar energy in late 70's. so many naysayers convinced me that the sunshine was too diffuse, undependable, and too hard to store. even if only some of the video speaker's ideas of future advances come true, it'll be big. for example, if car-on-demand replaces car ownership such that parking lots are empty, the acerage freed-up could be converted to solar energy collection.Re: Christmas and New Year j-d wrote: I wish you the Five Candles of Advent: Hope, Peace, Joy, Love, Christ. I thought I had photos of them in place, but I can't find them. Anyway, the made a basic sofa out of the bed. And for watching TV, I placed one of the wedges at the head of the bed. Add some pillows and it's very good. Born Free and Winnebago Trend have a way to raise the head part of the bed and mattress for lounging. It probably is not too hard to do. We don't know what we would do about tables. If the cab seats swivel, maybe we would rig up something for them. If the drop down bed is okay, that would be a fine layout. Friends of ours snowbirded in a 26 or 28 foot Trek Safari for years. It had the drop down bed. They loved that MH. People still pay good money for them, and the bed is a big part of the reason. You are right on the toad. These things are not intended for it. I'm sure someone will tow a Smart Car with one. That would be right at the limit. i remember your wedge pillows, and thought ALOT about losing our jacknife sofa to build a twin size bed as you did -- but we found sitting in the cushy contoured couch to watch TV set on dinette table very nice. the redundancy of seating in t24rb is apparent; front cab swivelers and breakdown table could yield some VERY OPEN floor space in the vid w/ the couple, they said NO towing is allowed transit orion t24rbRe: I want this twin bed floorplansnowman, i had posted these comments, but maybe you did not read them burlmart wrote: snowman: a few comments - a twin bed is very different than a sofa for daytime lounging - backless & too-wide seat - will two swivel chairs suffice for lounging? - if TV is in cabover, you are facing away in swivel seats - will you place a knockdown pedastal table somewhere for big maels or laptop use? a while back we were in a BF built-for-2 w/ the twin inclinable beds that faces the cabover TV...looked comfy for hanging out on slow/rainy afternoons and most evenings. nevetherless, it looks like you are moving in a good direction w/ the coachman orion w/ dropdown queen and sofa/captains-chair-dinette Snowman9000 wrote: Thanks Hooligan. I am partial to the plans with the bath in the back. The bath is usually roomier, and the rest of the plan is one big open feeling area. I found this Orion/Transit plan from Coachmen. It is exactly what I was looking for: But I would also like to see this drop queen bed plan too!: if your snowbirdind ventures involve entertaining, it's perfect but, no toad capacityRe: I want this twin bed floorplansnowman: a few comments - a twin bed is very different than a sofa for daytime lounging - backless & too-wide seat - will two swivel chairs suffice for lounging? - if TV is in cabover, you are facing away in swivel seats - will you place a knockdown pedastal table somewhere for big maels or laptop use? a while back we were in a BF built-for-2 w/ the twin inclinable beds that faces the cabover TV...looked comfy for hanging out on slow/rainy afternoons and most evenings.
