A brake controller (Not Break) is required in most states, and only a fool wouldn't use one, especially that size trailer.Re: Jeep LibertyI towed for a couple of years with my Jeep Liberty, although mine is a diesel. I would keep it to a small hybrid MAX with a good Weight Distribution hitch setup. It is a little more of a handful being passed by big rigs. I kept it around 60 MPH while towing. One good thing, it was easy to maneuver.Re: WiFiAgree with the above. It would take a lot of bandwidth so that everyone can enjoy decent speeds.Re: Dodge Ram Plastic Hood?Since Dodge stopped producing trucks back in 09, any plastic hood will be aftermarket. My 2015 Ram Truck 1500 has an aluminum hood.Re: Towing TT naturist wrote: If the hitch is only rated 5,000 lbs, you'll need to replace it. Whether you use a WDH or not, 5,000 is still less than 7,000. A WDH changes the way the tongue weight gets distributed but does not alter the total weight. It is probably rated 5000 WC and ???? WD.Re: VPN ProblemI have a VPN at my house so I can connect to my home network from outside. This includes viewing my security cameras. I have a good quality ASUS router and setup an OpenVPN connection. When setting up this connection, you have to download a config file (config.ovpn) which includes all the information and the encryption keys to let you connect. You also have to set up a login on the router. When logged in, it is just like you are connected to your home network.Re: Wal Mart's Super Tech DEF?Use that or pump DEF. No issues so far.Re: Uncle Sam strikes againI am not a lawyer, but I do agree with your, and I would get with someone, preferably a lawyer, who could give you the correct advise.Re: EZ-PassHere is what I have found out towing with my EZ-Pass. I have a RI EZ-Pass and they only configure it for a passenger vehicle. In Mass, the old system would charge me a commercial rate, so I paid cash. New system, same rate for towing a TT or for commercial. It costs me 3x more now for the Masspike. New York, it seems that if you go through an unmanned lane, it charges me for just a car. I feel so guilty.... Delaware River Joint Bridge Crossings, put your EZ-Pass in your static bag and pay cash, or they charge you for commercial. Same thing with the Delaware Memorial Bridge.Re: What does tow haul do on Ram 2500 CTD path1 wrote: . My thoughts exactly.... :h
