You can try putting water into the fresh water tank and running water through the pump. That may flush out the crud. You other choices are replacing the pump or adding a stand-alone check valve (a.k.a. backflow preventer) on the pump fitting. It still shouldn't come out the syphon tube unless the valve was left open. Assuming pump check valve failed it would back up into fresh water tank.Re: Allison 1000 02 workhorse w22Read the codes from the check engine light. It could be the engine telling the trans to unlock because it senses an issue.Re: Xfinity internet neschultz wrote: Hank MI wrote: I used the xfinity hotspot for several months last year. Not sure who but someone close in the campground had an xfinity modem. It worked out great for us. We could access our home DVR plus free high speed internet access. I treated it as a public network, used the phone hotspot for banking etc. Use it if your an xfinity customer, that's what it's there for. We use their cell phone service also. We normally pay $38/month for 2 new iPhone 6s phones (unlimited text and phone calls) and a gig of data. Really happy with that! Don't have their cell service. We have T-Mobile, $40 a month, unlimited talk, text and data. If you use less than 2gig in a month that line get's a $10 kickback so $30.Re: Xfinity (Comcast customers)I have their modem, xfinity blast internet, supposed to 75mb. Every time I've checked it's been over 90mb. That's over wired connection, I'll have to check speed over wireless.Re: Thinking of changing from VerizonThe T-Mobile 55+ plan is a good deal but not for us. My phone, my wife's, daughter's, son's and his fiancée's phone doesn't work with that plan. We have the $40 plan, unlimited talk, text, data and that includes all taxes. You get a $10 kickback per phone if that phone uses less than 2gig of data for the month. We signed up when they offered a 20% discount so most of the time it's $22 a month per phone, sometimes $32 if a phone uses more than 2gig. I won't say their coverage is as good as Verizon or ATT but it's been working good for us and improves every year. As far as using your T-Mobile phone as a hotspot. You're limited on the amount of data and speeds are 3g unless you add the hotspot option to the line, $10 a month. That gets you 4g data.Re: Xfinity internetI used the xfinity hotspot for several months last year. Not sure who but someone close in the campground had an xfinity modem. It worked out great for us. We had it installed while in Florida while snowbirding there. Really worth the investment-in my opinion. Besides, the wife REALLY likes it. I installed one, SunGuard, while snowbirding in southern FL. Hugh difference, really cut down on the heat in the front of the MH.Re: Drop Hitch recomendationsI'm using an 8" drop. This moved the towbar out from the back of the MH a lot. I drilled new holes in the drop receiver and the towbar to bring it back in where it would be without the drop receiver. That should reduce the sideways torque back to where it would be without the drop receiver. Towed our '07 Malibu over 10,000 miles that way with no issues.Re: Whining brake pedal 77rollalong wrote: the winning noise could be the backup pump for the hydro boost, may be an idea to check all the brake lines for any signs of leaks if the master cyl is dropping in fluid level that quickly. They will drop over time as the disk brake pads wear, but not in a few days it should not.. I'm sure it's the hydro boost, ours works the same. Anytime you press the brake with the engine not running and providing vacuum to the master cylinder it will run. It's a safety thing. If the engine quits while your moving you'll need some help stopping that rig. Disk brake take a lot of pressure to work. Something you probably can't do without assistance. Don't worry about the rubber bulbs popping out as long as the fluid level isn't dropping. Every time you press on the brakes the fluid level will drop some, sucking the bulbs down. Release the brakes and the fluid level goes back up but may not push the bulbs up.Re: Basement AC problem outside blower stops when #2 Comp onlineSequence should be, outside blower and compressor #1 start. Inside blower comes a few seconds later. 15-20 seconds later outside blower shuts off and #2 compressor starts. A second or 2 later outside blower comes on again. Yours is doing everything correctly except to restart the outside blower. Could be a control board, there are lights on the control board that will tell you what it 'thinks' it's doing or if there is a problem. A google search should get you the service manual with troubleshooting steps.
