After doing my measurements to adjust the height of the hitch, I ended up changing the position to 1” forward to gain a little more wiggle room between the tailgate and front of the Rv. I didn’t feel a difference in towing stability but for the he’ll of it, I called b&w. They informed me that it is a negligible difference between the two.Re: Pick up truck remembrance !My first truck was a 1988 Toyota 4x4 pickup. They sticker was a hair over $11,000 and the only option it had was power steering which if I remember correctly was $300. No radio and a 22re four cylinderRe: The Verdic is in, New Ford 7.3 V-8 Gas mpg not so GreatFirst of all, who uses cruise control when towing a trailer and expects to get optimum fuel economy. Secondly, the truck is no where near broken in.Re: Looking for RV parks near Boston MAThe Lakeville T station is only 10 minutes from the Middleborough KOA, that’s the route I would take. You take the T into south station and from there you can take other subways or simply walk.Vermont camping area’sI have camped a lot in upstate New York and New Hampshire but I have never been to Vermont. So, I’m thinking about doing a short trip there in June. I have no idea what areas are better to visit. My wife and I prefer resort style campgrounds but as long as they are clean, have a nice pool and have 50 amps, I pretty good. We enjoy some sight seeing, some shopping and just hanging by the pool. Any advice would be appreciated.Re: Southeast Massachusetts to Nashville TNWe were looking at Hershey pa but I camped there a few years ago and I don’t remember much to do around that area. It is definitely in the distance range I want to be in.Re: Southeast Massachusetts to Nashville TNSo we are going to do the Nashville trip and we are looking for advice on an area to stay a night or two on the return trip. I don’t mind if it is a little out the way as long as there is stuff to see and do. Prefer an area that is 600 miles at the most from home which is Massachusetts. I since have also upgraded my tow vehicle to a 6.7 powered F-450 so the fuel range isn’t as much of a concern.Re: B&W pivot arm adjustmentTotally agree, I’m sure either way, going from a gas powered srw 1 ton to a diesel power F-450, my towing experience is gonna be night and day. I could have kept my Reese elite slider from my last truck but I really wanted to go with the b&wRe: B&W pivot arm adjustmentCummins 12v98, so looking at the b& w instructions for your ram, your hitch is 2” in front of the axle. So that is right in between the two settings I have to choose from. I will put it together tomorrow and see my clearances with the trailer before I torque everything down. I would rather have my kingpin in the 3” forward position but like I said, I’m concerned with tailgate to camper clearance with tailgate down. You can’t always be perfectly straight with your trailer when your hitching up.B&W pivot arm adjustmentSo I purchased the B&W RVK3305 for the ford puck system on my 2019 F-450 and wanted advise on the pivot arm placement. I understand the height and bed rail clearance but I have the option of the kingpin 3” in front of the axle or 1” in front of the axle. I was wondering how much difference it would make between the two. I was thinking about doing the 1” in front of the axle to gain 2” of clearance between the front of my fifth wheel and the tailgate when it is open. Where I had my previous slider on my shortbed, having the hitch in the rear position gave me way more room between the tailgate and fifth wheel. Any input is appreciated
