I had actually called GS tonight for some info and rates. I'll have to call Coach Net tomorrow as I have yet to hear a negative concerning their coverage or service.Re: Propane BottlesMany thanks. I'll get it filled. It'll be interesting to see if it lasts longer. If so, I'll know it wasn't full when purchased. We only have 3 more trips scheduled this season but will probably add another 3 or 4 since we're hooked. (We should've tossed the tents years ago.) DutchmenSport, yes, I still live in Greenwood.Re: Propane BottlesGood input. I hadn't thought about hot water heater, stove and oven although oven isn't used much thus far. We have also used outside kitchen twice. The dealership said they were filled but being a rookie I didn't think to ask if they were full. I'll check around to see who fills bottles around this area.Propane BottlesWe completed our 6th voyage this past weekend with our TT purchased this past spring. Our left tank ran out Sat morning. No problem since I have 2 tanks but I was thinking 6 trips was fast for a bottle to run out. Our normal practice is to turn gas/fridge on a few hours before departing so fridge can cool. We run fridge off gas the entire trip. 4 trips have been Fri-Sun, 1 was Fri-Mon and the longest was in Gatlinburg - 5 days total. Any y'all think this is fast for a bottle to empty also? Does it matter where we get the bottles replaced?Re: Upgrading to a 15k btu air conditioner?Glad you're more comfortable. Before buying our new TT in April I negotiated an upgraded 15K BTU before buying. Last weekend we were in KY and the heat outside was miserable but the trailer was so cool we had to adjust the thermostat. The downside is we only have the one so it is a bit noisy right in the middle of the TT.Re: 2015 Keystone Passport DelaminationI'm sorry to hear the dealership is giving you the run around. I bought my 14 Passport from Lakeshore RV in MI. I've called them twice with rookie questions and was walked step by step through the issue. (First was water heater and the other was clogged toilet.) I hope you take the advice of these veterans as they've helped me a ton also. Our first long haulWell, our fifth outing with our new(ish) TT was our longest yet. (Greenwood, IN to Smoky Mtns, TN) Can you say HOOKED?! Our Suburban labored a bit on the steep hills but performed like a charm. DW is researching Campworking to begin in a few years. Looks like this might be our segway into FT. 4 more trips planned this year but all local. Our thermal cut out for the hot water heater blew. CW sold me the wrong part but thanks to Platinum RV store in the area who had 1 left.Re: our new TTCongrats! We also made the leap from our tents to a TT this year (April). 3 trips and 2 states in 7 weeks and we're loving it. We have 4 more trips planned and can't wait! Enjoy the family time.Re: FIRST TRIP IN NEW TTAll in all I think it was a successful trip.Re: FIRST TRIP IN NEW TTYes we had a filter connected from the water source. I'll look into that solution and try it this weekend as we head out to Brown County. There is only electric there but we have made some adjustments in how we'll prepare meals and such so as to not fill our tank so quickly.
