The only time you should downshift is going down hill, which isn't needed as much with the EB or going up hill if the tranny is searching for a gear.Re: GM standard bed vs Dodge standard bed pick-up blt2ski wrote: rhagfo wrote: mpierce wrote: As in everything, beds have shrunk. Get rid of the short bed, get a std bed, then you are setup..... BUT, with this in mind, others have said you are ok with your short bed twuck wannabe. So go for it! Marty ps, I must be showing me age!?!?!?!?!?!:R:R:R You sound like my brother in law that thinks shortbed trucks arent trucks. In my case in a Chevrolet, I had gasket problems which allowed the water to get in the motor cylinder. Yeah because nobody has even blown a headgasket using standard coolant!!! I've used dexcool for 330,000 in duramax trucks with no problems.Re: Toy Hauler Travel Trailer Sandia Man wrote: We have a 32' TT TH and although initially we loaded our toys for every trip, we go about 50/50 traveling without our quads onboard nowadays. Have to make sure to load as much as you can to the rear of the axles as tongue weight will be very high without toys onboard which is common for TT TH rigs. That about how we are also. IMO a toy hauler our toy hauler is more roomy than a standard trailer.Re: 2015 Ram Cummins power increaseAnd still cant keep up with my 13 year old duramax! Sorry I had to do it.Re: Tuner for towing on a 7.3L PowerstrokeCustom tunes for dp tuner or beans is what is best for the 7.3 period. I would also do a bigger trans cooler 6L if possible but there are not cheap. If you have tranny problems and you will its just a matter of when. Get a BTS tranny its the best. Once you have pulled with a built tranny you will never want to pull without one.Re: Bullydog GT Diesel TunerThe canned tunes will work just fine. Yes the custom tunes are better but bully dog and other canned tunes are just fine for the average guy.Re: One of a kind RV trailer conversion.I wouldn't pay 1,000 dollars for that thing.Re: Clogged EGR Valve at 19k milesJust delete all that******and be happy!Re: Did I make a mistake in Financing?
