To make matters worse, a few years back it apparently suffered some data loss that left a big hole in the forum archives. I’d say that about 3-5 years of history was lost, so your search will only be able to find a members posts that are outside of that “hole” in the data. Glad to see that you’re still TC’ing Mooney. Still hauling it on the ‘08 F550? :):) Still on the 550, been a great combo.Re: loosing old members Geewizard wrote: Camper_Jeff_&_Kelli wrote: Geewizard wrote: 54suds wrote: loosing old members here ???? seem a lot are gone / going any particular reason personally I post way less because of less knowledge on newer campers AND because of sites horrible photo posting process ! whats your opinion /reasons for less participation ??? I look at this forum almost every day and have since 2004. I post replies when I have some knowledge or experience to add. I do NOT post replies to such topics as "what did you do to your truck today?". :R TCs are TCs, no matter whether newer or older. Same goes for all the additions/subtractions to them. I find the photo posting on this forum is pretty easy. Like Mooney, I still have and use my Outfitter Apex 8 every year AND have a RPod travel trailer as well. Mooney's last post was 2011. He had/has an interesting TC setup. I liked his 2 cylinder generator. I beg to differ. His last post was on 10/03/19 at 03:55pm.....right above mine. Actually had quite a few posts since 2011, not sure where that's coming from. Still using 2cyl water cooled generator, love that unit!Re: loosing old members 54suds wrote: loosing old members here ???? seem a lot are gone / going any particular reason personally I post way less because of less knowledge on newer campers AND because of sites horrible photo posting process ! whats your opinion /reasons for less participation ??? Still here, still use camper on regular basis. Kids are growing, looking at getting a little Casita to pull behind Host, but still a TC'er for life!Re: Fuel mileage 2017 gas trucksI see about 12mpg going down hill with wind at my back!Re: Turned away, told me they dont accept truck campersSeems difficult to believe in this day an age that parks would arbitrarily discriminate. Why not just post a sign stating what color you need to be, qualifying income and minimum amount spent on your RV?Re: Triple SlidesGreat info everyone! Glad to see EC making campers again . . . didn't know they tapped the triple market.Triple SlidesHey everyone, been out of the loop for a while and have a question; who is making triple slides? I just got back from camping last week and someone on the beach asked if they could look inside the Host. He was planning to purchase a 550 with a utility bed and wanted to know about available 3 slide inventory. I explained Host, Chalet and Okanagan were the three who made them, but I hadn't been in the market for a while. I knew the Okanagan's have been gone for a while, but just went on line and see Chalet halted production. There's a limited market (and limited trucks) that handle these beasts so choices have always been slim. Wondering if anybody had updates?Re: Purchasing a set of FOX ShocksFox makes great shocks, enjoy!Re: Cool sunset behind the Lance tonight Raiders5 wrote: bigfootford wrote: Well we do have winter here and that does not stop lot's of us from having fun... Here's a picture of a group of us all huddled together at Yosemite back on Feb of 07. Left to right: Bigfoot Ford, Reddog1, Raiders5, Mooney and unseen behind us was Junket43. All of us are still active TC'ers... Not much of a sunset! Jim WOW!!! I remember this great shot and great trip to Yosemite. I'm actually the fourth one in the pic in the black F-350. I cant remember who the third TC is, but I remember him telling us about his second 6.0 PSD in that truck...blew up the first motor. It was rainy and cold outside, but warm and cozy in the TC's...and in Reddog's canopy complete with siding and a heater! Good times for sure and great folks to hang out with!! Thanks for sharing Jim! A beautiful sight!!!
