Has anyone run into this and suggestion for replacement clips? Looking forward to you response.Re: Cottonwood Pass Colorado OK for TT?As an update we did not pull the TT over the pass and took the long way around. We did drive the pass later in the week in just our truck, it is truly beautiful and driveable with at TT. But it is very rough and not something I would want to pull my TT over, it would loosen ever screw in the TT.Re: Cottonwood Pass Colorado OK for TT?My truck isn't much just a standard F150, but it did manage Engineers Pass albeit without pulling a trailer. So it sounds like Cottonwood is very drive-able with a TT, just take your time.Cottonwood Pass Colorado OK for TT?We are going to vacation in the Taylor Creek area in several weeks and I'm trying to determine if I can pull a 23' TT with my F150 over cottonwood pass from Buena Vista. It would save loads of time and would be very scenic. But I don't want to get into a problem here. If anyone could give me some thoughts on this I would appreciate it. TomColorado Campgrounds,We are looking to camp within 4 hours of Denver the first week of August. I have found several attractive campgrounds such as Olive Ridge. But did see some big notes on bears, are there really any issues? Our camper is a hybrid so bears would be an issue with the kitchen and food inside. A number of years ago we camped Colorado in a pup and had no issues. The questions I have are any suggestions for good campgrounds within 4 hours of Denver. OK with any campground with a restroom. More utilities the better though. Bears issue are not? Thanks for any input you may have.Re: RV Campground South Lake MichiganI would like to thank everyone for their comments. We are going to review all and make an executive decision this weekend so we can line up the RV rental.RV Campground South Lake MichiganMy family is thinking of camping on the south end of Lake Michigan and have never been there before. We are looking for recommendations for a campground reasonably close to the beach, that will accommodate a 18' hybrid. We sold our pop-up 2 years ago and are renting a hybrid to give it a go, this will also be a chance to catch up some with our 2 twenty something sons. So playgrounds are not necessary. Bike trails or roads that are bike friendly would be good. Trees for an amateur antenna would be a plus. We choose this area for the beach and it's a hard days drive from our home in KC without any significant stop overs. Any suggestions are appreciated.
