Some parks have space to park/store a rig where it is secure and not too expensive. Good luck.Re: So...question for you all. Most bang for the buck would be travel trailer and truck. Lots of space for the money, adequate storage, same accessories (furnace, water heater, fridge, stove, etc.) as other rv's. If you lose interest you've still got a nice truck.Re: hauling travel trailerGood luck. Make sure whoever you pick for job has his own insurance and properly executes paperwork BEFORE hooking up.Re: Eternabonding a New TT?If you're purchasing "New" as you say, then you want to be cognizant of warranty issues. Don't do something that will void the warranty. Also, don't fail to make warranty claim at the slightest hint of a problem. De-lamination can result from surprisingly small amount of water intrusion. Once warranty expires, at first signs of a leak, do a thorough and complete job of removing old caulk and replacing with Dicor, Eternabond, or whatever tickles your fancy.Re: weight distribution hitch/swayTalk to factory rep of hitch manufacturer. They should know what you need. My Equalizer that I used with 24' trailer couldn't handle my new 31' trailer (8k# vs. 5k#) and their rep was right on the mark with suggested 10,000# hitch. Couldn't be happier with performance of the upgraded hitch. I don't think you want to go too big, either. Best to hit it right close to the mark.Re: Gas mileageF-150 ecoboost screw: 20 mpg highway, 17.5 mpg around town, 9 mpg towing 100" wide by 143" tall 8000# Open Range. Towing smaller 24' Kodiak I experienced about 10.5 mpg on round trip, Florida to Nova Scotia.Re: Cedar City Ut walmartWhy not give them a call? (435) 586-0172Re: Wheelbase and weight distributing hitchesTerryallan has it right. I used same process he describes with good results. Only thing I'd add is to make sure trailer is either level or very slightly nose-down when hitched.Re: ~Post your campsite photos here~Chaco Canyon, New Mexico Re: ~Post your campsite photos here~Lake Cochiti, New Mexico
