If just 1 is not working, it's likely that switch.Re: 2011 Tiffin Phaeton A/C QuestionYour thermostat has "lost its memory" & needs reprogrammed. Ours, same model as yours, suddenly would not run Zone 1 heat (Aqua Hot) & showed "Electric"(Heat pump)- which it does not have - as the only Zone 1 heat option. Wish that I could remember how I got in to the programming menu to fix it, but it required a phone call to an impatient factory tech, who walked me through it. Electricity is either working perfectly, or driving you crazy. Good luck!Re: How is the Current RV Market to Sell My Coach? Our financial advisor, who also owns a DP, predicted 6 months ago that ‘22-‘23 would be a buyer’s market. ??Re: Storage of Fresh Water - How Long chuckftboy wrote: I never seen an expiration date on bottled water. Clean water, in a clean tank could possibly last several years or longer. If your tank is clean and your water is clean when it go in, it might last as long as honey in the Egyption Pyramids. Unlike bottled water, a tank is vented to allow filling/draining. Our tank has an overflow, somewhere underneath, & a vent @ the city fill. Each time tank level drops, via pumping or draining, outside air & is pulled into the tank. (The vent is screened to keep out “large chunks.”) We drain & refill before each trip. Sanitize 2-3 times/year.Re: Fuse location on engine a/c compressorApples to oranges, but the fuse for our '14 American Revolution is in an inline holder, buried under the dash, near the evaporator assembly. Not an easy find, even after being told where to look....Re: Setting up a TOAD4 years ago, we had a Ford Flex rigged to tow. All Blue Ox, w/Air Force One braking system, a charge line, & the car's height required a drop adapter for the receiver. The total bill was $4300, of which $1200+ was shop labor. In addition to saving the labor, we could've saved by shopping parts online, instead of paying retail to the shop. However, after seeing the disassembly & cutting required for the install, I chose to pay a professional to tear into my wife's brand new car. The entire job took about 12 hours.Re: Tires Bruce Brown wrote: ^^^ The problem with that is the damage that dual does when it blows. Want to ask me how I know? :B ^^Agree^^. Camping @ fairgrounds & a Class A gasser pulls in, sporting damage from a recent drive tire failure. In addition to removing all the wheelwell skirting, the explosion had blown through the adjoining storage bay, tearing off the floor panel & the door. The generator was temporarily secured w/ratchet straps.Re: class a motorhome tiresCheck Zurcher Tire in Monroe, IN. Not certain about Toyo, but they carry several brands. They beat FMCA’s price on our new tires.Re: Time to hang up the keys...(consignment ?) goufgators wrote: I'm nearing age 80 and feel that my reaction time and other age related deficiencies are telling me that it's time retire from motor home driving. I do not look forward to 'hanging up the keys' but recognize that it's in my (and possibly others) best interest to do so. Here's a crazy thought: Worried about driving but still love using the RV? Find a driver to move your RV for you. A lady, who stores in our garage complex, uses a driver to move her 45' DP to a winter location & then return it after the season. Husband died several years ago, but she still wants to use the RV. We also travel w/multiple dogs & living in the RV is vastly superior to any motel that would have us. ;)
