Towed a 6300lb TT with it and it was brutal.Re: Towing heavy with an F150?my 2013 owners manual says it only applies the trucks brakes, not the trailerRe: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!sold the 97 and picked up our 2016 whitehawk! too busy for good pics so here are some quick ones. Just page through until you find it. Sway control is activated automatically if you plug into the 7pin, you have to purposefully disable it in the DIC. I had a 5.0 3.55 145" f150 and sold it to go buy the EB with max tow. The 5.0 is terrible when towing at its limit, you can try tunes all you want but it just doesnt cut it. I was towing a 6500 TT (dry 5650) and it really was not fun tugging around a 29ft camper with the 145" 5.0.Re: air lift 1000's and WDH Dream Girl wrote: I am using the "1000 Air lift bugs" without WDH on my Jeep Wrangler 4dr, towing a ~2000lb Pop-up. HUGE DIFFERENCE! so much that the WDH become unnecessary (in my case) why would the wdh become unnecessary? okay, you leveled the suspension but the tongue weight of the camper is still pulling weight off the front axle without the wdh distributing weight to the front. I'd even argue you are making it worse by stiffening the rear suspension. In a short wheelbase vehicle like a wrangler you can bet your bippy I'd have a wdh. http://www.fastwaytrailer.com/weight-distribution-hitches-vs-airbags/Re: Selling a travel trailersold mine on craigslist in a week and a half. you need to be realistic with your price since it is only a year old, you will have to be competitively lower than the prices on new ones otherwise no one is going to take a gamble with yours when they can buy new.Re: Please help... im not sure what to doi would take the trim off completely and seal it with an outdoor caulk. then reinstall the trim so it the caulking gets sandwiched between the trim, the side panel and the backing. i would think that would seal it pretty well. make sure its all dry before you do this though and clean everything with rubbing alcohol so the caulk sticks good.Re: pros/cons seasonal site Lantley wrote: I also don't need another set of neighbors. thanks for everyones advice. a couple of comments like this one really resonated. We camp to get out and be together as a family, If the kiddos meet some other kids to play with for a little bit, so be it. but we like being together, we arent out to be social. not saying we're hermits so hopefully it doesnt come off that way. see, glad I asked. Didnt think abotu being around the same people everytime and getting obligated into the social structure of the campground.
