Depending on your RV you'll have either a 50 or 30 amp plug on your cord, and both are available although you may need an adapter for the 30 amp as the RV will likely not be a twist lock type as on the gen. If you're charging your boat batteries, (assume with a typical charger) I'd just run 1 unit and plug the charger's standard 15 amp plug into the receptacles on the single unitRe: Outside light cover 2008 RT 19PAnother alternative is LED strip lighting (the weatherproof type). I've seen some that are even dimmable, which I'm considering to be able to regulate from very bright to quite dim so it's not "blinding" in the dark.Re: Cargo Carrier Hitch sizing?Maybe just some small amount of rust in the receiver on the MH, as I've had that on my '04 Avalanche (wouldn't fit till "cleaned out" vs a '13 truck I also have. I actually sandblasted the inside of the hitch receiver on the Av, then it worked, although was still tighter than the newer truck's, ??Re: battery deep cycle replacementYes that was my question. Thanks for the response.battery deep cycle replacementHave a 2000 Dodge 3500 Okanagan with sealed battery box that is vented thru van sidewall. It will hardly or maybe just fit a group 27 deep cycle. Question is if there is a truly sealed battery alternative so I could install a larger , or 2 batteries for more capacity?Re: The Official unofficial CPE 2000i Generator ThreadGood point. It does have the paralleling plugs, but it should probably by verified whether the new black will parallel with any of the older units (that had the paralleing capability )Re: The Official unofficial CPE 2000i Generator ThreadCanadiankid is right, the went on sale @ $399 about 2 years ago this spring, (April I think). Was in their flyer that shows what is going on sale and when. I got one, wish I'd done two, so have been watching for another sale as well, but non have happened since. My local Costco has this new black one as well.Re: The Official unofficial CPE 2000i Generator ThreadIt varies from MW to MW unit. Look at the input wattage, not the MW's output wattage rating. I've seen 800 watt output units with as high input wattage levels as some more expensive and fancier 1200 watt output rated MW's. Not sure why there is such a difference in efficiency ( ie the output wattage divided by input wattage)? My bud's unit will only start his large MW whenever it's below approx. 60F (15C) outside temp. He learned last summer on a hot day it will NOT do it when it's hot mid day temperature outside. I've not tried mine to that level of testing yet.Re: The Official unofficial CPE 2000i Generator ThreadInteresting, that the Champion 2000 is no longer in my local Costco stores, and in looking at Costco.ca site, they now show NO Champion products, having a range now of Powerhouse (???) units. Closest is a 2000 unit, with 1900 net output.Re: The Official unofficial CPE 2000i Generator ThreadDSchmit, it's one of the VERY few times that ANYTHING is cheaper up here, and I do mean anything. Nice of Costco Canada to give us a break. I bought mine last week, 1 left at the building. Then was at another store yesterday, last day of the sale, and they had at least 10 left. I stayed with one only since it'll do what I need but up here it would have been 2 plus the paralleling kit for still about $400-500 less than the single Red 2000 model, so was a no-brainer as they say.
