Towing our 5’er to Florida it’s 1500 miles and we take 4 days to do it. I’m most comfortable with 300-350 miles per day. Typically we average 50 miles per hour at days end.Re: Keystone roof ventsI know my Keystone Montana has these. They are called Mushroom Roof Attic Vents. These covers screw on and you need to purchase base and cover as a set. They should be available at any Keystone dealer. Here is a link to the item available on Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mushroom-Roof-Attic-Vent-Used-On-Keystone-Thor-RV-Trailers-White-/222017060619?hash=item33b13f7f0b:g:EmQAAOSwzJ5XdtTK&vxp=mtrRe: what happened to taking pride in your work We looked at Montana's in 05. I am a Finish Carpenter and know what things SHOULD look like. First impression was this is really nice, then I started to look past the bling and it was pathetic to say the least. Every time I mentioned an issue to the Salesman he said "we can fix that". Why the HE!! would they not have it "FIXED" before putting it on the lot??? I have seen this in many RV's we have looked at over the years but the Montana's of that era took the cake! Ended up with an Avion Platinum that was a good rig but the suspension started to fall off! ------------------------------------------------------------------ I too am a finish carpenter (40+ years) and if you think the workmanship is poor in towables, check out the park models.Re: best method of washing rubber roof?Dicor rep at a ralley I attended stated to wash with original Dawn (blue) dish washing detergent.Re: Opinions on Dish Tailgater? After 5 years of poor Florida Comcast standard def tv, we tried the Tailgater. Very pleased, easy to set up, easy to activate account. No more waiting in line for two hours to return Comcast box at the end of the season.Re: Superglide on Super DutyMy SuperGlide went from my GMC to a Ford. New under bed brackets were required. I did not install the new brackets but I do seem to remember talk of the install being a pita due to def tank location. The installer also left off the overload spring bracket which caused the rv to bump the drivers side truck bed rail. I have not had any further issues after the overload brackets were reinstalled.Re: Mountain View ARNo trip to Mountain View would be complete without stopping at the Dulcimer Shoppe.Re: Pullrite superglide LubeMy SuperGlide was purchased in 2004. At the time lubriplate white grease was recommended. Sometime after that WD40 was recommended and at a still later date Sliplate was the lube to use. I still use white grease on the sliding parts and have never had a problem.Re: Something other than Interstate 95?From MA to Arcadia FL we travel 84 to 81, 77 to 26, 95 to 4 to 17.Re: Any Problems with your 6.7L diesel on Ford F350 ?????65,000 on my 2011 and my only issue was a leak in the ac evaporator which was replaced under warranty.
