Considering the hour lag time for sensor loss notification, it's a seriously good idea. I wonder if it is available with the older sensors. The sensors that I have are at least 7 years old as I've now had them on three campers. The reason I bought the new monitor was that I started having 537* readings on one wheel and the company said it was the firnware in my old monitor, so I bought the new one and replaced the repeater to the one that comes with it. Seems to work better but still has the lag on start up.Re: TST color monitor (TPMS) fj12ryder wrote: nremtp143 wrote: dodge guy wrote: Thanks. Exactly what I was looking for. You're welcome! One thing that happened to me last weekend was I had a sensor with a weak battery that kept alarming on the way to Pigeon Forge so I had to keep hushing it. I would keep the buttons accessible if possible because it drove me crazy the 50 miles up there. That sounds odd, unless the weak battery was showing low pressure. If it was losing the signal due to a weak battery, it wouldn't keep alarming, it would take about an hour to alarm for lost connection. Did TST add a low battery alarm? It never had one before. The monitor I just bought at the rally in Goshen in September has a battery level for the monitor itself and then when the alarm started going off, it was an empty battery signal with an "X" over it. Since I have talked to the company here in GA quite a bit over the years with the system, I called them on the way and the tech said that it was my RR tire sensor battery low. I changed them once we got to Pigeon Forge and had no trouble at all coming home with the system. So, apparently it does tell you if the battery is weak.Re: TST color monitor (TPMS) dodge guy wrote: Thanks. Exactly what I was looking for. You're welcome! Re: Trying out a S&B 60 gallon fuel tankExcellent video as always Epic. I had no idea that S&B even made these tanks and I've been all over these and truck forums for years. Been stuck on the other major two I guess. I ended up with an in bed gravity fed 51G for my dually, but this one is nice. Hope all things are well! MontyRe: ceiling ventsIf they are like the ones that came in our Montana, take a small screwdriver and put into one of the three notches and pry outward. May have to do it on two different notches, but it should pop off.Re: Fence Post Mod - For water hose storage etc?I've been using the vinyl posts for years now. I carry 40' of sewer hose in one and 40' of vinyl gutter in the other one. I then made a set of stands to hold the gutter and hose while at the beach when the sewer connection is 10" out of the ground. They aren't glued together so they can be disassembled easily. Re: Back up lightsMy Montana and neither Sandpiper had backup lights, so I out them on there using LEDs from Etrailer. The top ones are actually 10 CLEAR LED lights for the backup and the bottom ones are 10 tail/stop/turn lights to brighten the rear up while on the road. Re: Disc Brakes in along with 8k axles.Thank you guys! I'm already a BIG fan of the disc brakes.Re: Disc Brakes in along with 8k axles. blofgren wrote: Wow, fantastic job! I think I would be a little nervous under there while it was only on jack stands, though. :E Thank you! The hydraulic jacks were also down and the jack stands I used were more than plenty to support the weight. I had 10 points in contact with the ground. It was very stable.
