Our Wildwood 292FKDS has a front window that opens. It is a 2010 model purchased in 2009. It has a rock guard that fits over it while traveling.Our 2004 Layton had a fixed front window. Never liked that setup.
Since we pass this way every year to visit family I can tell you that you will have no problem. We have a 30 foot trailer with a dodge diesel dually and can make it across the UP with one take of diesel.
