Why don't you come up here and show us how it's done. Seriously one of the most ill thought out comments I've read on here. Why not go with the conspiracy theorists that the government started them as well to back the theory of climate change. Give your head a good shake. Re: Is it better to be hooked to short power in storage? or not?Disconnect the batteries. Fully charged and fluid topped up they'll last for months with no ill effects. What ever works for you.Re: Missing orange cover on marker light; Water leakage concernsYou're Canadian. Learn about this retailer. Princess Auto. Pick them up for a few dollars. These vehicles were all driven regularly so tje fuel was always new. DEF will eventually expire. I would fill your tank if it's going to sit for months. wouldn’t it be better to not fill the tank so you can put fresh stuff in when your ready to go again? Diesel does not have the same characteristic as gasoline, particularly ethanol based gas which attracts water. It stays "fresh" for just about forever in a sealed container. You want to fill the fuel tank though as an air space helps to encourage the growth of bacteria and funguses which can play havoc with your fuel system. I use an additive which also discourages that from happening but it's not an issue if you are going though fuel every week.Re: Leaf Spring Failure - Replace the Others? MEXICOWANDERER wrote: Question? Are springs now coming from China and if yes, when did that start? China and India actually and yes it's been happening for a while. Broke one last year hitting a nice pot hole. Replaced all 4 including one axle that was starting to lie flat. Age and mileage wear them out.Re: its about timeIf it is not super important to camp in July/August it's pretty easy to get a site at any of the popular camp grounds in Ontario. We really only book on the shoulder seasons now and leave the summer to families willing to put up with the crowds. June, September and October are still pretty awesome and most certainly quieter. BTW if you enjoy interior canoe camping there are no restriction's for that. Normally I'll tie two weekends together for that type of camping.Re: Charging line to F150 toedThere is a relay that is not always installed at the factory for battery RV charging. Take a look and see if it's there. Dead easy to install.Re: stuck dump valve relaxin wrote: located the dump valve and cut open the underbelly, took off the calbe and the valve moves freely, so cable is seized, strange for a 3 year old unit hardly used. held the handle end lightly in a vise and gave it a good dose of penetrating oil a few times over several hours, let it sit overnight, and still stuck,,, FN@#!#%& !!! so ordered a new one, unfortunately only comes with the valve at $180 (cdn) Has anyone seen if any aftermarket place makes them in stainless steel? I ordered just the cable and T-handle off Amazon Canada. I'll fill the fresh water tank of approx. 35 gallons, add a cup of regular white vinegar, let sit for an hour or so then run it through the lines. Bleach smell and taste is gone and the vinegar only last for a little while then disappears.Re: Help with identifying delamination / water damage NorthernMarshPanda wrote: PS: Also figured out that this must have been an old Cruise Canada vehicle, based on the footprint left from the old decals. No idea if that's good or bad, but interesting to know! Just another reason to leave it be.
