Linoleum ripped during winter storage
I went to inspect our TT the other day and when I walked into the kitchen, I fsaw the linoleum ripped, from the fridge to the kitchen table! No sign of water anywhere, just ripped and curled up. Crazy. We have a slide out...if I wanted to put in laminate flooring, would that pose a problem for the slide out? Will self-adhesive tiles stay down? We are headed to Colorado in a few weeks and have a couple of nights reserved in the Stillwater Campground of the Arapahoe National Forest...any tips? Also what is the drive like from I-70 to Winter Park? THere are also a couple of first come first serve campgrounds close to Winter Park...any experience with those? I can't speak to this particular model, as we have a 2009 Laredo BHS. The floor plan is very similar. We love it. As I look at your model, storage would be the first thing that comes to mind, as it seems your outdoor kitchen may take away a storage bay...but that's a nice option. It also looks like you may have more "clothes" storage place in your bunkhouse area? is it 3 beds or four? Ours is four. For a small family, it is a great, all-around layout. If you are watching TV much, having all of the seating along the side wall, does make it a little uncomfortable, we bring a bean bag or two to use on the floor. Our sons are getting older now, one in college and one a sophomore in HS, and a 6th grader, this camper is getting a little tighter, but overall, we have been extremely happy with our Laredo. I would love the outdoor kitchen, I believe. You will see this over and over...you will find lovers of any model and you will find haters of any model...you have to pick the floor plan and features you like! I have never had an RV...I always thought having to "break camp" every time I needed to go somewhere, once we were at our destination would be a pain in the butt... BUT, I also imagine that if you towed a smaller vehicle around, you would be accomplishing the same thing as we do with our truck, but more economically, of course. As in all things, it depends on your personal preferences. If you can afford an RV, you can probably afford a "toad". I have looked at mid-line rv's and was astounded at the price tag. My dream, when I retire in 10 years or so is to get me a nice/decked out 5th wheel and a nice F-350. As it stands right now, my TT and PU fits me and my family just right.
