In my case I had water damage in the bathroom and ended up replacing part of the floor. The toilet was on the part of the floor that I did not have to replace but the adapter was both screwed into the floor and glued to the top of the tank. I think that it would be fairly tricky to get the adapter off the tank and leave enough to get a new adapter back on the tank. I also agree w/ JaxDad that you need to fix any underlying problems... ETA link to my thread on fixing a rotten floor. It has some pictures you might find useful. http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/26525791/srt/pa/pging/1/page/1 FWIW - FrankRe: NC to Kansasrv2go has a pretty good route. When I was going from Greensboro to St. Louis or mid Missouri I would get up to I64 by either going north on 77 in Winston Salem or going north out of Knoxville on 75. Once you get to 64 it is a pretty straight run to St. Louis and then catch 70. FWIW - Frank
