I switched to the Andersen 'No-Sway' Weight Distribution Hitch a couple of years ago. It is easy to install. Pulls smooth and quiet with no noticeable sway. It is so much better than my old one. I pull a 30' travel trailer with a Jeep Grand Cherokee and I can barely tell it is back there. It may be a bit more expensive, but definitely worth in my opinion.753Views0likes0CommentsRe: New coffee maker
I tend to like small and light stuff when camping. Maybe it comes from my backpacking and motorcycle travel/camping background. We began using the Aeropress for camping and it makes a great cup of coffee. But you need to heat the water in something else, so you need a teapot or regular pot. We bought one of these. It is a little slow, you have to pour water in for each cup, but it is cheap. It will take a Keurig pod, regular ground coffee and even has a setting and accessory for tea bags. It has replaced our Keurig, our 8 cup coffee maker and our electric teapot. Apparently I am drawn to innovation and good design. Take look at the Avia if you get the chance. We tow a 4400 LB (dry weight) trailer with a 2013 Grand Cherokee Overland Hemi which is rated for 7200 lbs for towing. Loaded I estimate that we are under 6200 Lbs. Only 2 in the car. Not sure why the new ones have a lower tow rating. Anyway I have absolutely no problems or concerns with my towing setup.488Views0likes0Comments
