It sounds like a lot of people aren't interested in a product like this and the ones who are already have something that works for them.non-spill, non-splash dog bowl? Interested? Is this something that would interest those of you that travel with pets, especially dogs? Or do you already have one? I've had an idea kicking around in my head for a while, but I have no idea what the demand might be. I'd love to hear your opinions.Re: Best dog commercial on tv magnusfide wrote: Deb and Ed M wrote: magnusfide wrote: My wife tears up on this one and I confess I get a bit misty eyed too. We were so caught up by the story line, we didn't know they were selling Suburus until much later. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-wXT1t5FTE I think those of us who went out of our way to make an old dog's last days happy, tend to get "misty"? You've got it in one. We've had several "old buddies, pals" that we did our best to make happy in their final years and to appreciate fully before that final moment. That's why that commercial brings on the tears and the mists for us. Our last dog took a final camping trip with us to his favorite campground. He loved to stand and watch the trout in the stream. At 14 + we had to say good bye to him as his renal failure advanced too far for comfort. We still miss the big smile. I just lost my old boy at 12 1/2. And yes, that commercial makes me cry.Re: Best dog commercial on tv Boxer Lovers wrote: Subaru has tapped into the dog lover market. Our Boxer Buster is welcome when we take our Forester in for service. Who does that? My local Nissan dealership let me bring the dog for a "jump test" to see if he could get up into the back of an Xterra. He could and I bought it. They were happy when I brought him along any time I had service done to the car. They would pet him and had a water dish for him.Re: Starting to look for our next unit2+ on the Lazy Daze. The only problem is that the used ones can be tough to find and right now I think the wait for a new one is close to 1 1/2 years. In my mind it's worth it. We have a 2014 24 ft that I hope to own forever.Re: 1st long tripStop an hour before you make yourself and everyone with you crazy. For us that's about 4-5 hours driving MAX. The trip is no fun if you get to your destination grumpy and irritated. Download Allstays or some similar app so that you can find places to stay on short notice (just in case the Grumpies hit earlier than expected).Re: oxygenics spa showerhead not for meWe bought one and didn't like the head, but we LOVED the part that attaches to the wall and holds the shower head. So we ditched the shower head and kept the hanger.Re: Love or hate work camping? vacuumbed wrote: For those of you that have lived in your rig for work have you loved it or hated it as compared to living in a home? I currently live 100 miles away from my (part time) job in a hospital ER. I drive down and stay for 4-5 days in the RV in the hospital parking lot and then drive home. When I first decided to do this I spoke with the hospital administration to make sure that it was OK. I love living in the RV when I'm down there. I have my own full kitchen, my bathroom and my bed. I don't have to deal with a hotel room. I'm generally not there long enough to have to deal with dumping the tanks, but if I did there are a few local RV parks where I could go do it.Re: What did you do to your Class C MH today???Filled up the water and loaded up the food and clothes for our first trip of the year. SO excited!Re: Do you use your rig to sight see/explore when camping? We have a 24ft Class C. We use it to go exploring without any problems. Next week we're going to Death Valley for 4 days. We want to be able to unhook during the day to explore and come back to a site in the evening, so we've paid a bit extra at a private campground with reserved spaces so there's no worry about having a space. As far as the hooking/unhooking being a hassle, you just have to be efficient and have a plan on how to set up and break down and it's not a big deal. If you're haphazard though, it can be a mess.
